Entrepreneurial Story: "Pour Shoes" Into A Millionaire
Two years in Guangzhou, two years of work.
In addition to solving the problem of food and clothing, there is no other prospect.
So I decided to quit my job together with my colleagues.
We don't know where to start with 500 yuan of money.
After a few days in the rented house, I finally came up with a way out: turn over the phone book to see if there are any friends who can help us.
For a long time, I have identified three, one is not familiar with IT, and another two are working in shoe factories in Dongguan. One of them is doing quality inspection work.
After contacting him, he said that he could go out and borrow a batch of stock backlog shoes for the factory. He assured us that we could sell them and give them money again.
This is good news, but I only have 500 yuan in my hand, plus 700 yuan for my beloved computer to make IT friend, a total of 1200 yuan. The starting capital is really poor.
There are too many places to use. First of all, the cost of pportation is about 10 yuan per box from Dongguan to Guangzhou. The first shipment is 40 cartons, which needs 400 yuan in total. Then we have to look for stores. The remaining 800 yuan is not enough to rent for a few days.
What can we do if we can't take the road of renting a shop?
The factory of the quality inspector is to make foreign trade shoes, and most of the shoes are B products, which are not very suitable for Chinese consumption habits.
However, the advantages of foreign trade shoes are excellent quality and fine workmanship. Therefore, our emphasis is placed on those who sell goods exclusively for foreign trade.
The first one found in the trade was clothing for foreign trade. The store opened in a large shopping mall, but business was not good.
After talking about the way of cooperation, we shipped the shoes to his warehouse and helped him sell the goods, which solved the problem of eating.
The price we give him is 25 yuan per pair, and his selling price is 50 yuan.
On the first day, 23 pairs were sold.
In the next few days, business continued to maintain a steady upward trend.
More than half a month later, we contacted the quality inspector to pay a portion of the money first, and then asked him to help find a good stock of shoes.
Businessmen are most concerned about credit, so every time we accumulate a certain amount of funds, we will immediately give money to the factory.
In this process, I gradually became familiar with the style and brand of shoes, and I know how to identify the quality of shoes.
But this kind of business, the profit margin of the intermediate links is too small, and the profit of the terminal business is the biggest.
By the end of the year, we heard that the flower market in Guangzhou is very busy every year, and only three days, so why not sell shoes in the flower market? Although the rent for three days is more than 3000 yuan, it can certainly sell much more than it does now.
After choosing the flower market of the sports center, we made our own terminal business.
For fear of not coming over, he temporarily asked three college students who worked hard to work and study and gave them 50 yuan a day.
The Spring Festival of 2003 is the best day to remember in my life.
In three days, we sold out most of the shoes in the warehouse, three cars! Each vehicle weighed 0.6 tons, and there was a heavy eighty thousand yuan in hand. After the Spring Festival, we had tasted the sweetness of us. In the Kowloon shoe city specializing in wholesale trade shoes, we rented a berth with this 80 thousand yuan rent, and started a real entrepreneurial road.
My colleagues are responsible for sourcing goods in Dongguan, and I am responsible for sales.
At the very beginning, we only had to make spot goods, because no one was willing to make an order with us. Many of the goods were B products with a broken code, and the number was limited.
But there are a lot of shoe manufacturers in shoe city, which have gradually solved our supply problems.
Slowly, we have some of our own fixed suppliers, most of their products are unique in style, and factories also have strength.
We often take some model shoes to them in the shop, and customers can take orders when they see them.
Starting from 1200 yuan is not easy to start a business. We cherish our achievements and cherish the integrity that a businessman should have. Therefore, business has gradually entered the right track.
Now, my colleagues and I are still opening shop in Kowloon shoe city, but we can pick up large orders from Europe, America, South Africa and the mainland. The staff have also developed to more than 10, and have their own houses and cars.
Three years have changed the fate of my life.
I know that the road to go is still very long, but I believe I can go down this road and get wider and wider!
