It is difficult to ensure that all new materials are used. The production scale of the same kind is small, and the leather shoes products are more individualized. Even large manufacturers are still hard to ensure that the products produced by them are as large as those of sports shoes.

Therefore, China's leather shoes manufacturers have not fully applied water glue.

In March 2004, red dragonfly began inviting professional testing companies to make special reports on waterborne adhesives.

In January 2005, the Red Dragonfly began its preliminary trial work. However, because the technology of water-based adhesive was not mature enough to manufacture leather shoes at that time, it was not widely applied in the enterprise.

Meanwhile, after testing by the epidemic prevention station in Yongjia County, the air harmful gas in the workshop after the use of water-based adhesive basically disappeared.

Red Dragonfly began in March this year. The 16 production lines of the shoe production base in Yongjia used nontoxic water-based rubber shoes. At the same time, Red Dragonfly Group Shanghai shoes industry, Chongqing shoes industry, Guangdong footwear industry, Wenzhou shoe industry four other production bases were widely promoted.

A freshness in the workshop

After making use of water-based glue to make shoes, the red dragonfly group more than 5000 production workers all removed the respirator, and the air in the workshop was greatly improved, which reduced a lot of exhaust emissions and saved a lot of costs for enterprises.

It is understood that although the price of water based glue is four or five times higher than that of the solvent glue, but the practice of Red Dragonfly proves that the use of the five largest production bases, but this non-toxic water based glue will only cost about 300 thousand yuan at the first time, but at least about 2000000 yuan per year for enterprises to save material costs.

It does not include saving a lot of electricity, manpower and pollution sources.

First, the use of water-borne glue does not need to invest in the installation of solvent recovery and dangerous explosion-proof devices, which can reduce the cost of storage and pportation.

Water based adhesive does not contain or contain VOC (organic volatile matter). It has no harm to the human body and the ecological environment. It is tested by the CDC's environmental and health related product safety. It belongs to the actual non-toxic level, and it is not inflammable, explosive, safe storage, and no fire hazard.

Second, because of its high solid content and low viscosity, and it can achieve a once brushing, it has good operability and reduces labor costs, and is also very economical.

Waterborne adhesive has high solid content and PU resin content reaches 50%, which is 3~4 times the traditional oil-based glue. Therefore, it can achieve higher adhesion than oil products at the later stage. It is not easy to volatilize, which can obviously reduce waste. Moreover, the use of one glue process will save 3~4 times more than that of traditional oil-based adhesive.

Third, the use of water-based adhesives does not need to bear the potential risk cost of fire and health hazards caused by solvents.

Before using oil-based glue, solvents should be diluted. These solvents are inflammable and explosive chemicals. They are often factors that threaten the safety and health of employees.

The use of water-based adhesive is completely free of this risk.

In addition, the use of water-based glue can also achieve zero emissions of exhaust gas.

As solvent gel 80% is volatilized, air pollution is very serious.

Non toxic water-borne glue "life experience"

Compared with the solvent polyurethane adhesive commonly used by domestic shoe manufacturers, waterborne polyurethane adhesive has no solvent odor, non-toxic, no pollution, easy to operate, easy to clean residual glue, high solid content, safe and convenient storage and pportation, but water-based adhesive requires longer drying time and higher drying temperature, and the drying process conditions are strict. Therefore, the existing process equipment should be modified to ensure the complete evaporation of water.
