Italy Footwear Association Predicts That Shoe Production Will Continue To Decline.

According to the website of Italy Footwear Manufacturers Association (ANCI), in the second half of this year, due to the international economic downturn and the unsatisfactory sales situation in the traditional market, the association predicts that the footwear industry in Italy will still maintain its existing pattern for the first half of the year, and the output will continue to fall, while the selling price of shoes will continue to rise. The domestic sales price will increase by 2.9% and the foreign price increase by 2.9%, and the number of enterprises and the number of employees will continue to decrease.

According to the sample survey, 40% of enterprises predict that the order will remain at the original level in the second half of the year, and 39% of the enterprises will predict a decline. Only 21% of the enterprises predict that the order will keep growing.
