China Textile And Apparel Exhibition To Promote Sino Japanese Textile And Garment Trade Continued To Grow
At the end of April 2010, the fourteenth China Textile Garments Exhibition (CFF), sponsored by China Textile Group, was successfully held at the MYDOME Pavilion in Osaka, Japan.
A total of 288 exhibitors, 344 exhibitors, 6000 square meters of exhibition area, received 5089 visitors, unprecedented.
After eight years and 14 efforts, the China Textile and apparel exhibition has become an indispensable professional exhibition to promote cooperation between China and Japan.
Its trade vane has been playing an increasingly prominent role.
China's textile and garment exports to Japan have maintained over 20 billion US dollars in recent years.
It accounts for about 15% of China's textile and clothing exports.
China is the third largest export market after the United States and the European Union.
Despite frequent exchanges between the two sides, there is still a need for a more professional and efficient exchange platform.
In compliance with the requirements of the industry, China Textile Group Corporation started the China Textile and garment exhibition in 2003.
According to the changing needs of Chinese and Japanese industries, China Textile Group has made unremitting efforts to promote the development of Sino Japanese textile and garment business in line with the principles of gradual, detailed service, upgrading functions and creating exquisite exhibitions.
Especially in 2009, the export of Chinese textile and apparel decreased by 9.8% compared to the same period last year. The export of Japanese textile and clothing increased by 0.1% compared to the same period last year, and the export amount reached 21 billion 345 million US dollars, maintaining the highest level in history.
Among them, more than 20% of the export volume was created by enterprises participating in the CFF exhibition.
Now, the exhibition will be held every spring in Osaka and autumn in Tokyo at a frequency of two sessions a year.
Nearly 6000 exhibitors have exhibited the size of the exhibition area of about 6000 square meters each CFF. It is not only the largest textile and clothing professional exhibition held in Japan, but also the largest professional textile and apparel exhibition held in China abroad.
Such a scale is also among the best in the global textile and garment processing exhibition.

They are weathervane of the textile and garment industry and have been widely recognized by the Japanese industry and the media.
So far, the professional customers of the exhibition are from 27 counties, including Tokyo, Osaka Prefecture, Kyoto Prefecture, Aichi county and Saitama County, covering all parts of Japan's textile and garment trade between China and Japan.
Most of these buyers come from business, manufacturing, wholesale, retail and other enterprises.
For the Japanese textile and garment industry, the CFF exhibition is not only a place for products to purchase, but also an efficient platform for understanding the information of Chinese industry and communicating with Chinese enterprises.
Until now, the exhibition has received wide attention and strong support from relevant media in the industry.
Japan's "fiber NEWS", "fiber research news", "Japan Fiber News", "credit information" and China's "International Business Daily" have written many times about the exhibition.
In this exhibition, Japan's second largest television station, Tokyo TBS TV, interviewed the exhibition situation in a special form and made a deep report.
The CFF exhibition has developed to a new stage.
In the past, the cooperation between China and Japan was more focused on production, technology and trade cooperation.
However, in recent years, especially since the financial crisis, on the one hand, the retail sales in the domestic market continued to decline; while the retail market in China grew rapidly and the demand potential was huge, many Japanese enterprises hoped to enter the market.
At the same time, Chinese enterprises have gradually extended to the design and sales terminals from the initial "production and processing" links. Some of them have made outstanding achievements in the domestic market sales, and have even turned their eyes to foreign markets.
For the attention and expansion of the terminal market, the frequent interaction between brands and enterprises as a whole indicates that China and Japan have exchanged and co operated in more aspects and deeper aspects. The CFF exhibition will also play an increasingly important role.
