Xiangshan's Exports Of Textile And Clothing Are Getting Warmer

　　 With the gradual recovery of the international economy and increasing demand for consumption, Xiangshan's textile and garment exports have recovered rapidly.

According to Xiangshan customs statistics, from 1 to April this year, Xiangshan exported 200 million dollars of textile and clothing, an increase of 15.6% over the same period last year, accounting for 48% of the total export volume of the whole county.

Textile and garment is one of the main export commodities in Xiangshan. In the first half of April this year, the export pattern of Xiangshan's textile and clothing was dominated by general trade, with an export volume of US $197 million, an increase of 13.3%, accounting for 96.6% of the total textile and clothing exports in the county. The export of processing trade increased rapidly and exports increased by 7 million 191 thousand US dollars, an increase of 1.7 times. The European Union, Japan and the United States are the main markets for textile and clothing exports in Xiangshan, while Latin American markets have risen rapidly, with exports of US $9 million 105 thousand, an increase of 66.2%.

At present, with the superposition of various unfavorable factors such as rising costs and intensifying competition, the customs recommends that enterprises should further enter the emerging market, reduce the concentration of export, adopt various export modes to reduce production costs, and create a number of well-known brands to expand the domestic market, tap domestic consumption potential and ease export pressure.
