Here is a desolation, surrounded by mountains and fishing ponds. There are few people in the past and business is very cold.

By the beginning of 1990s, business has improved, and Northern businessmen began to buy wool here, and the purchase volume increased year by year. The business environment also moved from the stalls to the iron shed on both sides of Rukang road. There was also an iron bed as a shelf, and each booth had a monthly business charge of 100 yuan.

Although the business is good, it is very hard.

(2), from 1996 to 2001: after entering the hospital, they are faced with "internal and external troubles".

Because of the dense market stalls at the early stage of development and the very irregular planning, fire hazards are more serious.

In May 1996, the Haizhuqu District government began to renovate and rebuild the Zhongda cloth market, and made it clear that it is the only way to pform and rebuild it.

The government initially changed the original stalls and iron shed shops of the market to brick and mortar shops, and merchants began to enter the rooms.

At that time, China and the big market faced "internal and external troubles".

On the one hand, the market management is chaotic.

Narrow roads, mixed traffic between people and vehicles, bad traffic conditions, interlacing with villages in cities, highlighting security problems, rampant theft, and being listed in the "key regulation list of public security in Guangdong" and "the ten major hidden dangers of fire in Guangzhou".

On the other hand, cloth market is facing challenges from all sides. The city of Tian Xiong Textile City, located on the south of Guangzhou Avenue, has just opened and the government has asked all the merchants to move there.

Meanwhile, the export of textiles and clothing in Zhejiang has increased year by year, and the gap between Guangdong and Zhejiang is still expanding.

When the external competitors were struggling to catch up, the market of the big and medium-sized cloth that grew in the early years through private growth and temporary construction was gradually showing signs of weakness until 2001.

(3) from 200L to 2004: the trend of rapid expansion business circle is gradually clear.

Entering the 2001, the big cloth market entered a period of vigorous development.

During this period, the Haizhuqu District government achieved substantial results in upgrading and upgrading the cloth market, while initially solving traffic and fire hazards, it also removed the hat of "the ten major fire hazards in Guangzhou".

The Guangzhou municipal government has promulgated the "Guangzhou commercial network development plan (2003 - 2010)", and the Haizhuqu District government has also compiled the "Zhongda cloth market regulation plan", putting the Zhongda textile business circle as the "top priority" of upgrading.

In 2004, the government of Haizhuqu District officially handed over the management of cloth market to the Fengyang sub district office, and set up the "Zhongda cloth Market Management Committee" composed of a dozen departments of the district government office, public security, industry and commerce, taxation, urban management, public security, planning, pportation, sanitation and so on.

At this point, the business environment is relatively stable, showing a Rukang road as the axis, to the East Xiaonan road peripheral development trend.

(4) from 2004 to 2009:

With the formal opening of Guangzhou Yangtze River (China) Textile City, the conditions for the formation of the "China Light Textile headquarters economic zone" have gradually matured.

Located in the "China Light Textile headquarters economic zone", the Guangzhou Yangtze River (China) Textile City has expanded the capacity of the textile business circle by 400 thousand square meters. It is a one-stop procurement and trading center which integrates procurement, international trade, modern logistics, exhibition, information consultation, technology exchange and personnel training. Its advanced design and planning lead the domestic similar market for 20 years.

With the opening of Pearl River textile city next year, the size of Zhongda cloth market will be close to that of Keqiao textile circles in Zhejiang. There will be a pattern of China's light textile industry that is truly "Keqiao and South China".

Two. Thinking about the operation of "Zhongda cloth business circle"

The Zhongda cloth business circle mainly develops around the Rukang Road, extending to both sides of Yijing road and radiating to Guangzhou Avenue South.

At present, dozens of cloth markets have been assembled in the Zhongda cloth business circle. The distribution is as follows:

1, with the largest number of cloth markets in the Yangtze River (including Changjiang garment accessories square, Changjiang Textile City, Changjiang cloth trading city, Changjiang Ruikang ingredient City, Guangzhou Yangtze River (China) Textile City and Changjiang spacious excipient city), the share has occupied 60% of the Zhongda business circle, and Guangzhou Changjiang (China) Textile City (also known as "China Light Textile headquarters economic zone") has an area of more than 400 thousand square meters.

2, Guangzhou international light textile city ranked second in the name of "global textile trading center". Its operation is quite good. Coupled with the modern architectural structure, it has become the best single market in the middle and big fabric business circle.

3, the largest share of the textile market in Kyushu is third.

4, the rest of the market is made up of sporadic shops such as China, Switzerland and so on.

5, the volume of Pearl River textile city, which will open next year, is larger than that of all large and medium sized fabric markets.

At present, throughout the "Zhongda cloth business circle", we have the following characteristics:

1, the volume of pactions is large and popularity is strong.

The annual turnover of the fabric in the big business circle has exceeded 30 billion, and in the rising trend, it is expected that 2012 will reach 50 billion of the annual turnover. The radiation level of the paction is no longer confined to Southern China, covering the whole of China, or even partially covering the global market.

There are tens of thousands of cars and tens of thousands of people in and out of the city every day. Traffic jams start at 11 a.m. until 8 and 9 o'clock in the evening.

2, a wide range of business, excipient pactions the largest in the world.

Zhongda cloth market includes all kinds of operations in the textile industry, including knitted fabrics, chemical fiber fabrics, woolen fabrics, silk fabrics, blended interwoven fabrics, cotton fabrics, linen fabrics, garment accessories, cloth for household decoration, buttons / buttons, blanching, hardware and so on. Because the market is growing spontaneously, many supporting logistics are not at all, resulting in serious defects in the pportation of goods, and the lack of logistics platform has reduced the speed of commodity trading.

6, old market and new market exist.

The old market in Zhongda cloth business area continues to operate, and the new market rises rapidly, so that there is a new and old market at the same time, and the old market mainly concentrates on both sides of Rukang road. The new market mainly takes the intersection of Yijing road and Rui Kang Road as the core and extends east to Guangzhou Avenue South, which concentrates the two super light textile cities of Guangzhou Changjiang (China) Textile City and Pearl River textile city.

7, business requirements for continuous improvement.

Because the old market can not meet the needs of business expansion due to business expansion, many merchants have moved to set up offices in the new market.

8, the lack of e-commerce pactions.

Because of the classification standard of textile products, especially fabric accessories, the description of products is not standardized. Transactions must be mainly signed in physical pactions, so that pactions can not be carried out on the network platform in real sense, resulting in the application of e-commerce platform is not universal.

In general, China and the big cloth business circle is a mature business circle with a deep foundation, but under the restriction of the management hardware, its development must jump out of the limitation or replan in order to have a better development. Of course, it is not to push down the old market reconstruction, but to improve the modern business environment of the whole business circle on the basis of fully using the old resources, and truly establish a big brand and the title of the headquarters economic zone.
