Guangdong Conducts Spot Checks On Clothing And Footwear.

　　 Guangdong quality and Technology Supervision Bureau recently sampled 5 production products of leisure garments, leather goods, footwear, wire and cable and electric bicycles produced by 1159 production enterprises in Guangdong province. There were 1555 batches of the products, 1108 batches were tested, and the qualified rate of the sample batches was 71.3%. Excluding only 104 batches of unqualified products, the internal quality pass rate was 77.9%. The 670 batch of casual clothing products were sampled and the internal quality passing rate was 65.8%. 

The main unqualified items are fiber content, color fastness, pH value and so on. A total of 91 batches of leather products were selected. The qualified rate of internal quality was 76.9%. The main unqualified items were stitching strength, corrosion resistance and color fastness to rubbing. 299 batches of shoes were tested, and the internal quality pass rate was 89%. The main unqualified items were the folding resistance of the shoes and the peel strength of the bottom. 440 batches of wires and cables were checked, and the internal quality pass rate was 89.1%. The main unqualified items were conductor resistance, insulation, sheath aging, tensile force, structure size and so on. There are 55 batches of electric bicycles, and the internal quality pass rate is 78.2%. The main unqualified items are vehicle weight (weight), pedal clearance, maximum speed, static load and braking performance.

In view of the quality problems found in the inspection, the quality supervision department has issued a notice of rectification to all substandard production enterprises, ordered the products to be unqualified enterprises to rectify and rectify unqualified products within a specified period of time. At present, 438 enterprises have gone through a review of the rectification and rectification, and 4 enterprises have gone through the rectification review, which is not consistent with the case.
