2010 Qinghai Tibetan Carpet Exhibition Held High Environmental Protection Banner

In June 20th, the newly decorated Xining Qinghai International Exhibition Center in Xining, Qinghai, was held in front of the world. The National Exhibition of Qinghai Tibetan carpet International Co hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, the Qinghai Provincial People's government and the Tibet Autonomous Region People's government was solemnly opened.

Qiang Wei, Secretary of the Qinghai provincial Party committee and director of the Standing Committee of the provincial people's Congress, opened the exhibition. Luo Huining, deputy secretary of the Qinghai provincial Party committee and governor of Hunan Province, delivered an opening speech.

Qiu Hong, Assistant Minister of Commerce, spoke on behalf of the Ministry of Commerce.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Wang Lingjun, vice governor of Qinghai province.

The guests also attended the opening ceremony, Cook, chairman of the world hand carpet Association, chairman of the India Carpet Export Promotion Committee, President Jeff Carrier of the American carpet Association, Rahman Nazar, the general manager of the Afghan carpet company, and Yang Wei, the commercial counselor of the Saudi Arabian Embassy in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and foreign representatives from the United States, Turkey, Russia, DPRK, Sri Lanka and other countries.

Wang Yinghu, Secretary General of the China Tibetan carpet Association, said that the international exhibition of Tibetan carpet in Qinghai has gone beyond the past in terms of scale, characteristics, grades and momentum. This reflects that it is developing into an internationally advanced exhibition brand.

"In Qinghai today, we are singing the green economy. The green carpet will change the appearance of Tibetan carpet as a resource based primary processing product, and has great potential for development."

Wang Yinghu said.
