Air service is a special equipment for aircrew combat training.

The renewal of clothing is not only a change of appearance, but also a science of dressing.

Li Junning, director of the scientific research section of the base, introduced that in December 2004, the 4 series and 22 varieties of the 02 type air service special work clothes began to equip the troops. This is the first time that our army has stored complete technology and production process information.

In order to make full use of the cabin space and ensure the safety of flight operation, the new generation of aircrew clothing scientifically grasps the overall structural design and process making links, improving the flexibility of limb movements and the sensitivity of action operations.

Besides the beautiful appearance, aircrew clothing is the first choice of the latest flame retardant and fire resistant clothing new material, which has the functions of fire prevention, flame retardance and antistatic.

On the basis of drawing on the air garment of foreign army, our army's spring and autumn flying pants adopt Kemal and aramid permanent fire-retardant and fire-resistant polymer synthetic fiber materials, and their performance indexes reach the international advanced level. In summer flight clothing and shoes, we use wool, polyester, tencel blended fabric, mole, Lycra fiber and superfine polypropylene melt blown cotton. These materials have the characteristics of moisture absorption, air permeability, flame retardant, fire resistance, high strength, antistatic, light weight and so on, which increase the comprehensive protection function of clothing.

Ground clothes: antistatic, anticorrosive and radiation protection

Our army has been equipped with new types of fighters and radars. These new equipments are precise, easily interfered by static electricity, have many varieties of oil and strong corrosiveness. Air force ground crew are exposed to electromagnetic radiation.

For this reason, the ground clothing series requires antistatic and anticorrosive functions, summer clothing is hygroscopic and sweating, winter clothing is windproof and warm.

The base is closely related to the working environment of ground crew, and the technical indexes of various varieties are reasonably determined, especially in anti-static and anticorrosive functions.

In the design of style structure, the concept of humanized design is fully embodied. The detail handling links conform to the working environment characteristics of ground crew, and the appearance design is greatly improved, which makes the ground clothes more practical and beautiful.

In view of the protection needs of the early warning aircraft, radar and ground missile forces, the base is studying the use of advanced international silver plating technology, developing radiation protection clothing materials, and equipped with microwave radiation proof clothing, effectively reducing the harm to personnel.

Parachute clothing: effective protection of comfort and safety

Maybe you can't imagine how many boots there are.

Parachute boots are one of the most important installations for paratroopers.

In order to develop the cushioning function of the parachute training boots and reduce the landing impact force, the base scientific researchers repeatedly compared and selected various new materials at home and abroad. After more than 100 repeated tests, the samples were manufactured by the officers and soldiers of the armed forces, and the boot was made of rubber material and the latest rubber double density injection molding process, which enhanced the cushioning performance and lightened the weight. The upper surface was netted and the floor stability was enhanced. The cushioning materials were made of foam polyurethane material, aromatic silk cloth, glass fiber cloth, chemical fiber leather and other materials by resin and neoprene adhesive to form a composite puncture proof layer.

In recent years, the base has made systematic research on the umbrella clothing, and has made breakthroughs in material application, style structure, comprehensive protection and system matching, so as to meet the needs of parachute personnel in fighting and training.

At the same time, we also pay attention to the application of high and new technology materials. The new materials such as "Mexes", "Nuo" and "Gao", all have applied Yu Sanqin to the field of clothing equipment, so that the comprehensive protection performance has been greatly improved. It not only takes into account the basic carrying function of the ground operations, but also fits the special needs of the airborne combat, realizes the matching with the whole weapon equipment system, and achieves the effective protection of the comfort and safety.
