The General Administration of Customs recently released export data showing that the total export volume of textile and garment industry 1~6 months this year amounted to US $88 billion 878 million, an increase of 22.09% over the same period last year, of which the textile industry exported 35 billion 652 million US dollars, an increase of 32.3% over the same period last year, and the garment industry exported 53 billion 226 million US dollars, with a growth rate of 16%.

The export growth rate increased by 2.78 percentage points over the growth rate of 19.31% 1~5, of which the total export volume of textiles and garments in June was 18 billion 665 million US dollars, up 29.99% from the same period last year, and the growth rate was 13.59%.
In June, the export growth rate which remained strong was biased against our earlier expected slowdown. It is a reflection of the delay in the growth of foreign demand or the recognition of revenue. It also needs further confirmation of export data in 7 and August.

In terms of industry, the continuous rise in volume and price in the first half of the year has made the industry show an overheated trend, while the export growth rate of downstream garments is only half of that of textiles. Therefore, the high fever of textile exports is suspected of hoarding raw materials, and it is hard to maintain in the second half of the year.
In the second half of the year, the export price will continue to grow as clothing prices rise.
