China'S Textile And Clothing Exports Grew Year-On-Year In June

According to the report issued by the General Administration of customs, China's textile and clothing exports increased by 33.4% to 18 billion 670 million US dollars in June, and therefore returned to the level before Lehman Shock.

Among them, exports of textiles climbed 44% to 7 billion 90 million dollars, and clothing exports increased by 27.7% to 11 billion 570 million US dollars.

The remarkable growth of textile exports is due to China's consolidation of its position as a major textile and garment manufacturing base in Southeast Asia.

In the 1-6 months of this year, China's textile and clothing exports increased by 22.1% over the same period last year, reaching 88 billion 880 million US dollars, of which textile exports amounted to 35 billion 650 million US dollars, up 32.2%, clothing exports increased 16% and exports reached 53 billion 230 million US dollars.
