The high-tech textile industrial park concentrates on more than 60 old textile enterprises in the city. Through re planning and layout, the equipment with high pollution and high energy consumption is eliminated, and the overall technological level is enhanced, thus creating a new mode of energy conservation, consumption reduction and innovation and development in Tianjin's textile industry.

In the park, various indicators for textile production have reached the advanced level in China.

The water consumption of enterprise equipment has been reduced by 50% compared with the past; the power consumption per 100 meter cloth has been reduced from the past 18 degrees to 12 degrees; and the new water volume of 10000 yuan output value has been reduced from 17 tons to 9 tons now.

The textile industry has always been a pillar industry in the city. There are more than 60 large and small textile factories scattered on both sides of the Haihe River in the past.

On the one hand, these enterprises are similar in technology and products, but on the other hand, sparrows are small and full of five organs.

Sewage plants, substations, chimneys, these energy consumption "big household" every enterprise has.

Faced with the dilemma of economic development and environmental protection, the textile industry took advantage of the eastward shift of industrial strategy, and gradually moved out of the urban areas from September 2003, and rearranged the layout of textile industry in Tianjin airport logistics processing area, and set up a new high-tech textile industrial park.

By concentrating similar industries together, the rational use of resources can be realized.

According to different specialties such as spinning, weaving, printing and dyeing, clothing and so on, high-tech textile industry park has rebuilt new enterprises after reorganization.

In the past, every factory had its own substation, sewage treatment plant and boiler room. After the relocation of the enterprises, a sewage treatment plant would solve all the problems.

The power supply and gas supply system is also concentrated together, saving a lot of money on the cost.

Spinning, weaving, printing and dyeing, clothing enterprises are concentrated in the park, the economic cycle in a region quietly formed.

Here, nearly ten processes of spinning are divided into separate workshops. Each workshop is linked like a chain, and a new type of industry and product chain is formed.

The focus of the textile industry's eastward shift is not the simple movement of the factory's location, but the realization of economizing development through intensive and technological innovation, and thoroughly breaking the old hole in the textile industry, which is backward in technology, aging in equipment, high in pollution and high in energy consumption.

In the high-tech textile industrial park, 80% of the equipment and machines are newly introduced world class equipment.

In the process of eastward shift, pollution and energy consumption factors have become an important index for textile enterprises to import equipment.
