The retail market maintained a good momentum in the first half of the year, and continued to grow steadily and rapidly.
According to the monitoring data of the China National Business Information Center in July, the retail sales of clothing in 100 large retail enterprises increased by 22.1% over the same period last year, and the growth rate was 6.5 percentage points higher than that of last year. However, compared with June, the growth rate dropped by 9.6 percentage points, which was basically the same as that of 3, 4 and May.

The total retail sales of clothing enterprises in hundreds of large retail enterprises in China amounted to 5 billion 930 million yuan in 1-7 months, an increase of 26.9% over the same period last year, an increase of 15.3 percentage points from last year, an increase of 3.8 percentage points over 2007, the highest level since 2007.
The total retail sales grew by 12.9% over the same period last year, up from 7.5 percentage points last year, up from 1.7 percentage points in 2008 and gradually approaching the level in 2007.
