In September 8, 2010, PetroChina Guangxi Petrochemical 10 million ton / year refinery project was formally completed and put into operation in Qinzhou, Guangxi.

In December 8th, the 4 million 200 thousand cubic meter oil depot of CNPC's Qinzhou crude oil reserve was announced for trial operation.
