This is the first "demonstration zone for quality and safety of industrial products with special export characteristics" in Hebei Province, and is also the first "demonstration area for exporting fur industrial products" in China.

In order to be a fine and strong demonstration area, the Bureau has formulated a series of supporting systems and methods, such as the Handbook for the standardization of demonstration areas for export fur industrial products, and the regulations for the inspection and approval of the construction of standardized demonstration zones for fur industrial products.

In the first three quarters of 2010, Gucheng County exported 1086 batches of fur clothing and 147 million yuan in value, which increased 542 times and 1088 times compared with the same period in 2009.

In September 25, 2010, the Hengshui inspection and Quarantine Bureau and the Gucheng county government formally signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly create a "demonstration area for export fur industrial products".
