Shanggao County, one of the shoe industry bases in Jiangxi Province, told reporters that a number of leather shoes enterprises will be put into production this year. The total investment of 60 million dollars will be 13 million pairs in the year. The enterprise can benefit from the EU's policy of cancelling anti-dumping duties.

However, customs officials in Nanchang remind that the EU's suspension of anti-dumping duties does not mean that they have abandoned trade barriers and may take other measures to restrict the entry of Chinese footwear products in the future.

The shoe making industry in Jiangxi is at the bottom of the international division of labor. At present, it only stays at the "processing factory" stage with low added value, earning low processing fees, and mostly by OEM.
