Through positive response and adjustment, the technological innovation capability and risk tolerance ability of enterprises in the industry have increased to varying degrees. Especially as China's economy began to pick up gradually from the second half of 2009, the industry has gradually emerged from the downturn in the fourth quarter of the year, showing a strong and sustained recovery trend, and the scale of production and sales has rebounded rapidly.

Especially in 2010, the industry showed full recovery and high-speed growth. The annual output value reached a record high and the output reached the highest level in the industry.

At the same time, the pace of structural adjustment and pformation and upgrading has accelerated significantly, and the results have begun to appear.

The "12th Five-Year" development plan of the Chinese sewing machinery industry, released at this meeting, shows that as of the end of 11th Five-Year, there are about 830 sewing machine production enterprises, including 620 sewing machine manufacturers and 210 non sewing sewing machine manufacturers (mainly related to other sewing equipment such as cloth inspection, cutting and spreading, except for sewing functions). More than 1000 spare parts manufacturers are mainly distributed in six major producing areas of Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong and Shaanxi.

The total output of the industry reached 74 million 960 thousand units, the output value was 193 billion 500 million yuan, the profits and taxes were 9 billion 260 million yuan, the total export volume was 53 million 929 thousand, and the export volume was 7 billion dollars.

It is worth mentioning that during the "11th Five-Year" period, despite the ups and downs of industry development, the six achievements have been achieved: the total economic growth has been maintained, the implementation of structural adjustment has been accelerated, the ability to innovate has been markedly enhanced, the brand construction has been actively promoted, the integration of two has been breakthroughs, and the industrial status has been comprehensively upgraded.

During the "11th Five-Year" period, the total economic growth of the industry continued to grow, the quality of economic operation continued to improve, the added value of export products increased rapidly, the annual economic growth rate was 11.5%, and the product structure adjustment also made significant breakthroughs. For example, the proportion of mechanical and electrical sewing equipment increased from 2% at the end of fifteen to 25.04%, the percentage of total sewing machine production increased from 5% to more than 36.5%, the annual output of special industrial sewing machines increased from 3% to 9.5%, and the structure of enterprises was further optimized.

The construction of innovation system is fruitful.

In addition to significant breakthroughs in the integrated control innovation of servo control and multi axis linkage control, a total of 45 science and technology projects have been awarded the national light industry science and technology progress award, and 4384 patent applications, utility models and appearance patents have been declared, an increase of 50.7% over the same period last year. 50 national and industrial technical standards have been revised and revised, representing an increase of 233% over the previous year.

Remarkable achievements have been made in the construction of innovative talents. The proportion of scientific and technological personnel in the 50 main industries in the industry has increased from 7% at the end of fifteen to about 10% now.

According to the plan, enterprises' input and awareness of brand building have been significantly enhanced, brand influence and international competitiveness have been significantly improved, and the acceptance of domestic brand sewing machines by domestic first-class garment enterprises has been improved.

In addition, the annual output of sewing machine industry in China accounts for 71% of the total output of the world sewing machine, from 80% at the end of fifteen to 80% at present, and the annual output value has increased from 45% to 59%. The industry has continued to gather in mainland China, which has made positive contributions not only to the domestic economic construction, but also to the total amount of foreign exchange earnings earned by the industry by US $7 billion, paying tens of billions of dollars in profits and taxes, creating nearly 5 million jobs directly or indirectly for China's downstream industries such as textiles and clothing, promoting the development and pformation and upgrading of downstream industries, and enhancing the international status and influence.

Opening "12th Five-Year"

Quality inspection, upgrading and catching up is the focus of development.

The "12th Five-Year" development plan of the Chinese sewing machinery industry clearly pointed out the industry development goal during the "12th Five-Year" period, that is, at the end of 12th Five-Year, the industry's innovation ability is close to the international advanced level, and the quality and brand basically have the strength to compete with the famous international enterprises on the same platform. It can be seen that the upgrading of quality and brand has become the two key word for the development of the industry during the "12th Five-Year" period.

It is understood that there has been a certain gap in product quality between the industry and the international advanced level.

Over the past year, although the industry has warmed up strongly with the upstream industry, the economic data of the industry have returned to the level of the peak period of the industry development. However, because of the comprehensive utilization of various production factors such as raw material prices, shortage of skilled workers and tight supply of parts, the profit of enterprises has gradually thinned. According to the plan, during the "12th Five-Year" period, the quality of sewing machine industry in China was improved. The quality of mass sewing equipment reached the quality level of the international famous brands, the quality of the special sewing equipment reached or approached the international similar product quality level, the localization rate of the key parts was nearly 100%, and the quality basically reached the international similar product quality level.

The plan regards "improving quality inspection level and implementing brand strategy" as one of the six key tasks during the "12th Five-Year" period. Therefore, it also refers to "quality overtaking" in an unprecedented strategic height.

In this regard, he Ye proposed that quality work is the eternal task of industry and enterprises.

During the "12th Five-Year" period, especially this year, in order to achieve the goal of "strong power" in China's sewing machinery industry, the China Sewing Association will provide strong support for the quality improvement project through four measures.

Second, on the basis of establishing the quality and technology target system, we organize technical personnel of technical experts, testing organizations and pilot enterprises to study the data of various technical projects, formulate unified and standard testing methods, enable enterprises to carry out objective evaluation of products in a unified and scientific way; third, set up expert teams to provide technical advice, follow up and supervision services for the progress, methods and implementation measures of pilot enterprises or enterprises; fourth, organize quality management training, quality information exchange and release, and tackle common and key technologies in the industry.
