    1. introduction


    Nylon / spandex elastic fabric has always been favored by people. Because of their high elasticity and excellent resilience, soft touch, comfortable wearing, beautiful appearance, and easy to absorb sweat and no static electricity, these fabrics have been widely used in fabrics.

    From knitted fabric to woven fabric, from clothing cloth to decorative cloth and functional material, nylon / spandex elastic fabric has broad development prospects and good economic benefits, so its detection method is worth further discussion.

    At present, there are 80% methods for the quantitative analysis of nylon / spandex blended products, including three formic acid method, 20% hydrochloric acid method, two methyl Methamide method, but the results of different methods are often obviously different, so it is easy to cause controversy.

    The three methods are studied and discussed in this paper.


    2. test preparation


    2.1 reagents and instruments


    Main reagents: two methyl formamide solution, 80% formic acid solution, 20% hydrochloric acid solution, ammonia water, three grade water.


    Apparatus: constant temperature water bath, vacuum pump, constant temperature oven, 0.0001g analytical balance, dryer, 200mL plug triangle bottle, glass sand core crucible.


    2.2 reagent preparation


    80% formic acid: 880mL concentration of 89% (density 1.19g/mL) diluted with formic acid to 1000mL.


    20% hydrochloric acid solution: 1000mL (20 C, density 1.19g/mL) was added slowly to 800mL distilled water. After cooling to 20 C, add distilled water and modify its density to 1.095g/mL~1.100g/mL.

    The concentration is controlled at 19.5%~20.5%.


    Dilute ammonia solution: take ammonia water 80mL (density of 0.880g/mL) diluted to 1000mL water.


    2.3 sample preparation


    The samples of nylon and spandex fiber were prepared according to 80/20 ratio.


    2.4 sample pretreatment


    Take the sample 5g or so, put it in Soxhlet extractor, extract 1H with petroleum ether, circulate at least 6 times per hour. After the petroleum ether in the sample is volatilized, immerse the sample in cold water, immerse 1H, soak 1h in water (65 + 5), the ratio of water to sample is 100:1, and stir the mixture at all times, then suck or centrifuge to dehydrate and dry.


    2.5 test procedure


    1) drying: put the sample into the oven and bake 4h~16h at (105 + 3) centigrade. If the drying time is less than 14h, it needs to be baked to constant weight (the difference between the weight of the sample two times continuously is not more than 0.1%).


    2) cooling: in the dryer, the dryer is placed on the side of the balance, and the cooling time is limited to the sample cold to room temperature (usually not less than 30min).


    3) weighing: after cooling, the sample is finished in 2min, accurate to 0.0002g.
