Guangdong Textile Institute Building Science And Technology Innovation Park

Guangdong Textile Vocational Technical College will usher in a new batch of students in the Gao Mingxin campus of Foshan in September. The Institute will build a science and technology innovation park here, while the original campus is planning to build a fashion creative industry park to cultivate high-quality technical talents for the pformation and upgrading of the Pearl River Delta Industry and regional industry.

The dean of Guangdong Textile Vocational Technical College, Hu Gang, said that the college has established the brand strategy of the Institute with the theme of "Fashion Textile Academy" and the talent cultivation strategy based on "pioneering project". The two campuses will have different functional orientation respectively. The original campus in Chancheng, Foshan will play a major role in the fields of continuing education, graduate internship, scientific and technological innovation, social services, international cooperation and so on, so as to create a fashion carrier for Foshan and even Guangdong.

In recent years, Guangdong Textile Vocational Technical College has extended to the fashion industry and high-tech industry on the basis of inheriting the characteristics of the textile and garment industry, and has trained high-quality skilled talents for the pformation and upgrading of the Pearl River Delta Industry and regional industry.

In 2006~2009, the average overall employment rate reached 99.57%, of which the employment rate in 2007 and 2009 ranked first in Guangdong universities.
