1 development of vortex spinning
In 1957, Gatzfreid of Germany first designed and invented Air vortex spinning.
Later, Britain, Japan, India and other countries also carried out national tests. However, the reasons such as poor spinning structure, low yarn strength and poor sliver ratio were not promoted.
Until 1975, at the Milan international textile machinery exhibition, Poland demonstrated the PF-LX vortex spinning machine, and the vortex spinning was regained attention.
In 1986, Poland produced PF-2 and PF-2RA (spinning core spun yarn) swirl spinning machines, and the spinning speed reached 150m/min.
At present, the NO.861 of our spinning machine is developed and improved on the basis of MVS851.
Spinning speed up to 450m/min or so, our production of conventional varieties can be around 400m/min.
It is more than 20 times the ring spinning frame.
Features of NO.861: the winding angle of the new type MVS861 short fiber yarn is 5057, the reciprocating guide yarn is 127 mm and 146 mm, and the angle of the winding yarn can be adjusted according to the need.
No matter how the winding angle of the cheese is changed, the winding speed does not decrease, such as the winding angle of rotor spinning is 402, and the winding speed has reached the limit.
The MVS861 vortex spinning machine has also improved in reducing energy consumption. The total capacity of the spinning frame per 80 spindles is 25.5 kilowatts, and the energy consumption per ingot is equal to 0.319kW. Compared with MVS851, it can save 25% energy, the compressed air consumption is 58NL (per minute, each nozzle), the air pressure is 0.5MPa, which is 27% less than the original compressed air consumption.
The VOS visual intelligent master computer system of the new device has the functions of spinning process parameters, spinning quality management, production management and machine maintenance management.
It can make the machine easy to operate, improve the quality of spinning and control the operation characteristics.
The VOS system is easy to operate for defect detection and statistical function, and increases the output of spinning sails.
The advantages of efficient production not only improve the production efficiency of the spinning machine itself, but also for the downstream processes, such as the yarn rewinding speed and the downstream process Textile processing on high-speed looms and knitting machines.

The spinning quality of MVS vortex spinning machine is very bad, especially in spinning process, because the fiber is twisted by the circumferential motion and the action of the variable air flow and is not directly twisted by the machine.
2 spinning principle
Starting with the sliver into the vortex spinning workshop, the cotton sliver enters the bell mouth through the guide bar wheel, feeding to fourth Rolla third rollers, and third fourth rollers are driven by a pulley with a continuously variable speed motor.
Then the back bar drafting must be fed as a cotton collector. The cotton collector will collect and aggregate the whiskers and then send them to the high tension drafting between the upper and lower leather rings controlled by the central roller. The front roller and the upper top roller form a grip holding the jaw to produce the difference in speed, and the bar drafting is a process requirement, and the drafting task is completed.
The draft bar is then sent to the twisting area - nozzle, nozzle consists of N1 nozzle N2 nozzle, N1 nozzle is supplied by two gas supply pipes, white trachea and black trachea, and the white trachea is to complete the nozzle shower. Before the start of spinning, the shower is carried out to clean the inner part of the spindle. The two nozzle closure is completed by a cylinder connected to the N2 nozzle. When the head is broken or the two nozzle needs to be disconnected, the air flow of the cylinder is released, and the nozzle of the N2 drops.
The air supply is done instantly and the air is not supplied during normal spinning. The formation of the vortex field inside the spinning spindle is provided by the white trachea connected to the N1 nozzle. The entry bar is fixed by the needle holder (the needle holder is used to pull the bar into the N2 nozzle) and enters the N2 nozzle. The core fiber is formed inside the N2 nozzle. The fibers around the hollow spindle are swirled around the core yarn at high speed and wrapped around twisting. The yarn is output and guided by the output of the output roller, and finally is wound to the paper tube. The spiral curve of the needle holder prevents the twisting yarn from being pmitted upward. The black trachea and the blue trachea are joined.
Because of the principle of wrapping and twisting, the hairiness index of the vortex spinning line is very good. The hairiness above 3mm is nearly 0. The yarn coming out of the roller comes through the scissors - yarn clearer - the warp and weft guide hook - tension roller - the friction roll of the roller is finally rolled around the paper tube. Then the yarn clearer plays the role of quality control. Through the VOS setting of the computer control panel on the front part, it determines what yarn faults are not to be left with yarn faults and orders scissors to cut.
The whole spinning process is monitored by the electronic system. It is automatically removed when yarn faults are found, and the automatic connection device is applied immediately to connect the yarn. This device is called "automatic connector", so the whole spinning process is fully automatic continuous.
In addition, the yarn spun from each spindle is also monitored by the automatic connector, so that the spinning quality is monitored by ingots. It is found that defective spindles can automatically stop spinning.
The yarn produced by MVS is really twisted yarn. The fiber runs parallel and twists between the draft system and the yarn forming point and enters the fixed spindle (hollow spindle).
When the fiber is pmitted.
One end of some fibers is separated from the main fiber, and one end is compressed air (eddy current), forming a real twist yarn at the entrance of the spindle.
This method of yarn formation enables the yarn itself to increase the ratio of wrapping fibers to about 20% to 30%. This phenomenon increases yarn strength, especially when spinning cotton yarns.
Vortex spinning can produce pure cotton combed yarn or combed cotton yarn, 18~50 British.
As far as possible, the cotton sliver is parallel, which is at least three times drafting, and the dust content in the sliver is as low as possible.
The separation process of fiber ends is very complicated.

In the spinning process, the fiber loss rate can reach 2% to 8%, mainly occurring between the front roller jaws and the vortex spinning spout, and the missing fibers are mainly staple fibers.
3 characteristics of yarn and factors affecting yarn performance
3.1 the thickness and knots of the vortex yarn are more than that of rotor spun yarn and ring yarn. The main reason is that the fiber's straightness is poor in the process of conveying fibers, and the stability of the vortex field directly affects the uniformity of the conveying fibers.
In order to achieve good yarn quality, we should try to improve the factors that may affect yarn index in the production process.
In the process of vortex spinning, the factors affecting the fiber straightness are: the quality of the sliver, including the degree of separation, elongation, neps and stability of the sliver, and the performance of the drafting component in the vortex spinning, such as the top roller, the upper and lower leather rings, the roller performance and so on.
Among them, the upper and lower skins play the role of controlling the movement of fibers in the floating area. In the high drafting, the surface stability of the leather apron directly affects the coarse detail index; on the other hand, the stable performance of the front roller is also an important factor affecting the details. This is what I found in many tests. Before each time the lab used the details to cover the spindle, I replaced the leather ring according to the experience of spinning, but it didn't work, but the details dropped significantly after changing the roller of a qualified spindle.
Later, once I seal the spindle by details, I do not go to the leather apron, but I only change the front roller, and the effect is obvious.
The stability of the vortex field is also a factor affecting the details. But the experience of this time tells me that the influence is not as good as the leather apron and the front roller.
3.2 the strength of yarns is somewhat lower than that of ring spun yarns.

It has little effect on the breakage rate, such as warping, weaving and knitting in the post process.
The most important factor affecting the strength of the vortex spinning line is the cleanliness inside the nozzle. Although the spray nozzle is used to clean the nozzle at the beginning of spinning, it does not clean up the dust in the raw cotton after the cleaning and carding process. Moreover, most of our cotton fabrics are spun chemical fibers, and some antistatic oil additives are added into the pre spinning. These agents are stacked around the nozzle, especially around the hollow spindle, and adhere to some dust, which changes the environment of the eddy current field, resulting in the instability of the eddy field, resulting in a high breaking rate of the weak twist yarn, and the surface of the cheese is soft and white.
3.3 mechanical wave analysis in yarn: a) where the mechanical wave occurs at the front roller, the roller may vibrate very badly and there is physical damage. The mechanical wave length at this time should be lambda = Pi DE.

The final output component of our vortex spinning is the output of Lola, and the line speed ratio of the output roller to the front roller is 1.025. The diameter of the front roller before grinding is 30mm. When the lambda = Pi DE=3.14 * 30 * 1.025=96.7mm, after 3 times grinding diameter to 29.1mm, then the lambda =93.7mm, in the spectrum analysis, the difference between the calculated result and the actual test result is 15% normal, so if the front roller is undesirable, the wavelength of the mechanical wave should be 80 - 110 mm..
B) where the mechanical wave is generated at the leather apron: the diameter of the leather ring is 38 mm, then E takes M.D.R * T.R.R (i.e. the main draft multiple x 1.025). If we spin B/JC70/30 32SK MVS, the M.D.R selected is 35, then the mechanical wave should be lambda = Pi DE/2=3.14 * 38 * 35 * 1.025/2=214cm, 182 in the allowable deviation.
4 suggestions on routine management of vortex spinning
4.1 the replacement of the front roller, under normal circumstances, the service life of the front roller is 1 months. However, in order to produce more varieties and small batches, our factory regularly spun multiple varieties, resulting in unstable surface conditions of the roller, thereby reducing the life of the roller. Generally, 20 days left and right need to change the roller.
However, because of the difference between the individual parts of the spindle, the quality of the roller is not the same. Some of them may need to be exchanged for 1 to 2 days. These can be found at any time and can be changed at any time.
When the car is changed for a time, the rollers that are replaced on a large scale do not mean that they can not be used. They can be selected out of the roller with stable performance. The specific method is to open the 30 and return cars in the VOS system at the front of the operation panel, and show the quality index of the spinning yarn at present. The details can be seen in detail, and the number of details can be seen. The number represents the details of the length of the yarn being spun on the spinning spindle. In addition to the current spinning length of the spinning spindle, if it is less than 0.06, it shows that the quality of the spinning yarn is qualified, and the roller can be placed or handed to the mechanic alone to replace the roller when making the roller. For the rollers that can be used for a period of time, they can stop and sweep.
The above work can work out a form to fill in the specific switching time and change the spindle position. If there is parking, cleaning or maintenance, spinning and other reasons, stop the time and fill in the parking time, so that it can be used as an effective statistical data for the use period of a variety and roller.
It should be noted that this method has not yet been used by our factory.
4.2 the service life of the leather apron can also be referenced by the preceding roller exchange method, but for the leather without physical damage, it can be cleaned in alkaline lotion and dried after the car is removed, so as to reduce the production cost.
4.3 cleaning of the nozzles has been carried out in the sweep.
The alcohol cleanliness of tension rollers is done, but some of the flyer parts are sticky with some cotton wool, which is already blackened and needs cleaning.
4.4 the pressure of the cradle is generally controlled at 3.7kg, which has been adjusted before the installation. However, it is found that quite a few of the spindles have a high voltage up to 4.5 kg, causing the flyer to reverse in spinning, and the filament winding too much on the tension roller, so that it is necessary to adjust the 10 screw behind the cradle. But in Japan, it is too tight for the screw to be screwed, so it is impossible to use the ordinary wrench to turn it off. I suggest buying 10 ratchet spanner to match the activator to prevent the screws from being twisted.
At present, there is no ratchet spanner of No. 10 in vortex spinning.
4.5 at present, there are still some improvements in the management of eddy current spinning: a) the standard of vehicle sweeping is needed, and finally, a responsible person will check the vehicle acceptance.
B) it is necessary to set up a set of spinning standards, including specific spinning steps and driving standards. This standard does not refer to the standard of laboratory test qualified driving.
It is whether the screws of the spinning parts are tightened, whether the distance is qualified or not, and whether the nozzle is qualified or not.
