Century Textiles &Industries Ltd announced its quarterly and annual financial results as of March 31, 2012. The company's net loss was 238 million 900 thousand rupees this quarter, far less than 496 million 500 thousand rupees earned in the same period last year, and its total revenue fell to 13 billion 120 million 800 thousand rupees from 13 billion 683 million 500 thousand rupees last year.

The company's net profit this year was 221 million 300 thousand rupees, down from 2 billion 374 million 900 thousand rupees last year. The total revenue of the company was 48 billion 999 million 600 thousand rupees, which was basically unchanged from 48 billion 20 million 700 thousand rupees in the same period last year.

Century Textiles and Industries Limited was founded in 1897 and is headquartered in Mumbai. At present, the company has developed in spinning, denim, filament yarn, sulphuric acid, cement, pulp and paper business.
