Ten Years Of Industrial Change In Two Major Textile Enterprises In Jiangsu, Zhejiang
Recently, we have concentrated on a research topic on the current problems faced by Zhejiang's economy and the way out. We have compared Zhejiang with Jiangsu in an unintended way. Although the touches may still be fur, the reality gap between the two provinces has been felt uncomfortably.
Turning over the two provincial statistical yearbooks, it was recalled that Jiangsu was once a former.
textile industry
Big province.
Ten years ago, Jiangsu and Zhejiang were basically on the same starting line.
In 2001, the total output value of textile enterprises above Designated Size in Jiangsu province was 135 billion 50 million yuan, and Zhejiang was 107 billion 290 million yuan.
By 2010, the total output value of textile industry in Jiangsu province was 596 billion 250 million yuan, and Zhejiang was 557 billion 470 million yuan.
Similar to the two provinces, the textile industry is developing synchronously.
Ten years ago, the total output value of Enterprises above Designated Size in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and two provinces ranked the first in terms of output value.
In 2010, Jiangsu textile industry ranked seventh, and Zhejiang textile industry is still the first.
Over the past ten years, Jiangsu's communications equipment, computers and other electronic equipment manufacturing, electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing, pportation and equipment manufacturing, general equipment manufacturing and other industries have developed faster, and output value has surpassed the textile industry rapidly. Among them, communications equipment, computers and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry jumped from third to No. 1.
In Zhejiang, the "hegemony" position of the textile industry has not been challenged, and the output value of the manufacturing industry of communications equipment, computers and other electronic equipment has even dropped to seventh place from sixth.
Let's look at the county economic structure as well.
Xiaoshan District of Hangzhou is the banner of Zhejiang's county economy for many years. In 2011, the industrial output value of above scale reached 455 billion 320 million yuan, and it was hard to meet the enemy in the province.
But one analysis reveals problems.
Over the years,
Xiaoshan economy
The backbone of development has always been traditional industries, especially eight high-energy consumption industries, especially textile industry.
According to the data of the first three quarters of 2011, eight major high-energy consumption industries such as Xiaoshan's textile industry and paper industry contributed 58.7% to industrial output value above scale, and contributed 95.3% to profit growth.
So once let
Xiaoshan
Compared with several economically powerful counties in Jiangsu, the situation of "pursuit of troops" and "pacesetter" are becoming more and more obvious.
In 2002, the total industrial output value of Xiaoshan and Jiangyin exceeded 100 billion yuan for the first time. In 2011, the industrial output value of above scale in Jiangyin was 142 billion 380 million yuan higher than that in Xiaoshan, and the industrial output value of Kunshan above scale was 282 billion 265 million yuan higher than that of Xiaoshan.
Changzhou Wujin district has been lagging behind Xiaoshan in the county's comprehensive strength ranking for many years. In 2011, its total fiscal revenue has exceeded Xiaoshan and its local fiscal revenue is close to Xiaoshan.
The lag of industrial structure has directly affected the economic development of Zhejiang province.
Since the reform and opening up, Zhejiang has created a miracle of rapid growth for twenty or thirty consecutive years with the advantage of market economy.
However, this trend has been compared with Jiangsu at the beginning of this century.
Comparing the economic growth rate of two provinces in Jiangsu and Zhejiang from 2001 to 2011, we can see that in addition to Zhejiang's GDP growth rate higher than Jiangsu in the first three years, Jiangsu's economic growth rate exceeded Zhejiang from 2004 to 2011.
Although there are other factors such as resource endowments, lagging behind the development pattern dominated by industrial structure and industrial form is the most important reason.
Since 2009, Zhejiang people have always been proud of the "first GDP per capita" honor has been robbed by Jiangsu.
In 2009, 2010 and 2011, the average GDP per capita in Zhejiang was 44641 yuan, 51711 yuan, and 58665 yuan respectively, representing an increase of 7.7%, 9.5% and 7.1% respectively. In the same period, the average per capita GDP of Jiangsu was 44744 yuan, 52840 yuan and 61649 yuan respectively, with an increase of 7.1%, 44744 and 52840 respectively.
It is very difficult for Zhejiang to catch up in the short term.
The characteristics of low cost, low efficiency and low added value of the textile industry generally determine that the industrial structure is also passive in resisting external crisis.
In 2008, when the international financial crisis just appeared, Zhejiang textile County Shaoxing County broke out a series of textile enterprises' collapse. From Jiang long holding to Wanjia textile, 20 Fen spinning, two woolen yarn industry, Hongxing textile, Hongxing Sha Na dress and Hongli textile, a number of enterprises collapsed.
Because Jiang long holdings listed overseas "China's printing and dyeing", and then went bankrupt, overseas people thought that China's textile industry was over.
Of course, the textile industry also has new and high technology, which can also be pformed and upgraded. It can not be simply regarded as a sunset industry.
However, compared with the research funding in recent years in two provinces of Zhejiang and Jiangsu, we still have to admit that our neighbors do better.
During the "11th Five-Year" period, the proportion of expenditure on research and development (R&D) expenditure in Zhejiang accounted for 1.22% of GDP and 1.82% in 2010.
The ratio of R&D to GDP in Jiangsu has exceeded 2% in 2009, 2.04%, 2.1% in 2010 and 2.2% in 2011.
This year, some regions including Zhejiang have greater economic growth pressure.
However, "steady growth" should not be a reason to obstruct governments at all levels to eliminate backward and delay the implementation of "cage changing birds".
Without foresight, there must be some worries.
In order to layout new development advantages, Zhejiang must start from a long-term perspective and start from close quarters.
