China And South Korea Jointly Hold International Fashion Show And Seminar

To celebrate the 20th anniversary establishment of diplomatic relations between China and ROK,

The Sino British clothing industry association held an international fashion show and symposium from June 25th to June 29th.

Scholars, fashion personages and special guests attending the event mainly came from China, South Korea, Mongolia, Thailand and other countries. Only 29 scholars from 26 universities came to the conference in Korea alone. There were representatives from Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, Academy of Fine Arts, China Central Academy of Fine Arts, Wuhan Textile University, Academy of Fine Arts, Sichuan and Sichuan city.

There are more than a hundred sets of costume design works and over 40 academic papers, which can be said to be an academic event between Chinese and Korean and Asian Fashion scholars.

At the seminar, Professor Liu Yuanfeng, vice president of the China Fashion Designers Association and President of Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, said: "with the vigorous development of China's textile and garment industry, the North clothing industry has constantly opened up international vision and actively carried out international cooperation and academic exchanges.

Now is the golden age for China to move forward from a big textile and garment country to a powerful country. This is also a historical opportunity for the north to grow into an internationally famous fashion school, and all the northern people will make every effort to achieve this goal.

"This international exchange fashion show and seminar will not only consolidate the friendly relations between China and South Korea, strengthen academic exchanges between the two countries, but also promote the development of the Asian fashion industry chain," said Jan Jan, chairman of the China Korea Clothing Industry Association.

It is reported that in recent years, North clothing has held a series of international fashion education and industry exchange activities, completed the 2008 Olympic Games Paralympic Games and National Day 60th anniversary series of clothing design, God seven cabin.

In addition, ten new national standards have been set up in the nine compartment of the God, and nearly ten national standards have been set up. Another new "exploration" -- the fashion and design industry innovation park of Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology in Zhongguancun, was formally approved by the people's Government of Beijing.
