"Strictly speaking, after the implementation of the new national standard, the old standard children's clothing can no longer be sold, so consumers can ask the merchants to return the goods for compensation."

The responsible person of the China Consumer Association said that the new national standard had just been in operation for 2 months, and the products on the market are in the replacement stage of the old and new standards.

If consumers encounter such a situation, they can ask businesses to return goods without compensation. If there is any dispute, they can call the consumers' Association 12315 hotline to make a complaint.

The person in charge also reminded the public that when choosing children's clothing, they must be optimistic about labels and choose products labeled "category A, infant clothing (GB18401-2010)".
