    < p > according to the organizers, the competition has been held for two consecutive sessions, mainly for footwear design students and footwear design and research institutes representing the future of China's footwear design and creativity. The theme of the competition is "the most dazzling folk style: creativity, nationality, culture and civilization". The aim is to build a high-end fashion creative design platform for Chinese shoes, adhere to originality, actively promote the development of Chinese manufacturing to China, and promote the organic integration of creative culture and wealth culture.

    Since the launch of the competition in August 2012, the industry has aroused strong repercussions. Relevant design institutes, social design institutes and enterprises have received high praise and enthusiasm. In just three months, nearly 1000 entries have been received.

    After the preliminary examination, a total of 50 entries were finalists.

    In December 2012, Xie Rongfang, executive director of Wenzhou shoe leather industry association, deputy director general of Wenzhou shoe leather industry association, and experts and academics of Li Yunhe, Dean of technology Academy of Fine Arts, Wenzhou University, made a comprehensive evaluation of shoes from five aspects, including creativity, market potential, practical function, craft production and visual value. After final scoring statistics, they awarded a gold award, a silver award of two, a bronze award of three, and the best creative concept award, the most market potential award, the most practical function award, the best process production award, and the five most visual value awards.

    In fact, this process is consistent with the process that shoemaking enterprises have developed and produced. 3D shoe making software has greatly improved the efficiency from design to production, and has been applied in advanced shoemaking enterprises in Italy and other foreign countries. At present, AOKANG shoe research and development center has pioneered the establishment of 3D designer team.
