Italy Footwear Industry Is Optimistic About Russian Market
In recent years, the export of Italy footwear to emerging market Russia has been increasing rapidly year by year.
In 2007, from the perspective of export volume, Russia has become the fourth largest export destination in Italy, and its export volume and amount have increased by more than 20%.
At the same time, in the Russian domestic shoe market, Italy has also become the second largest source country of its imported shoes, second only to China, occupying the high-end market of its footwear industry.
From the market price, the retail price of mid-range Italy leather shoes is between 85.2-113.6 euro, the retail price of medium and high grade is between 113.6-142 euro, the retail price of high-end retail is between 142-199 euros, and the retail price of luxury goods is more than 227 euro.
According to the association, Russia will still become the hot spot of export for Italy footwear manufacturers in 2008.
