2014 China (Guangdong) Vietnam Economic And Trade Cooperation Meeting Held In Hanoi

< p > jointly sponsored by the Guangdong Provincial People's government and the Ministry of industry and trade of Vietnam, the "2014 China (Guangdong) Vietnam Economic and trade cooperation and exchange conference" hosted by Shenzhen was held in Hanoi on the afternoon of April 14th.

Hu Chunhua, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Guangdong provincial Party committee, delivered a keynote speech. Vietnamese Vice Premier Fan Pingming and Chinese ambassador to Vietnam Kong Xuanyou attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

During the exchange activities, a total of 57 projects were signed, amounting to US $3 billion 243 million.

Vietnam is Guangdong's largest investment market in ASEAN, and the fourth largest trading partner. Third, promote cooperation in agricultural and fishery development.

Fifth, establish a long-term mechanism for communication and cooperation.

Fan Pingming, vice premier of Vietnam, said that as the successful benchmark of China's reform and opening up and Guangdong's economic and foreign trade province, the Vietnamese government attached great importance to the all-round cooperative relationship with Guangdong.

This exchange will help enhance mutual understanding and docking between the two sides, and promote economic and trade relations between Vietnam and China, especially the provinces and cities of Vietnam and China's Guangdong province.

Kong Xuanyou, Ambassador of China to Vietnam, gave a high degree of affirmation to the economic and trade cooperation between Guangdong and Vietnam in his speech. He suggested that the two sides should strengthen exchanges and cooperation in expanding trade scale, raising investment level and promoting "two corridors and one circle" cooperation.

Tang Jie, vice mayor of Shenzhen, said that in recent years, the scale of economic and trade cooperation between Shenzhen and Vietnam has been expanding. In 2013, the total trade volume between the two sides reached 4 billion 53 million US dollars. At present, 22 enterprises (Institutions) set up by Shenzhen in Vietnam, with a total investment of 420 million dollars, have invested in Vietnam by HUAWEI, Zhongxing and Dazu laser.

Facing the future, Shenzhen hopes to strengthen cooperation with Vietnam in three aspects: first, speed up the construction of Shenzhen Haiphong economic and trade cooperation zone.

Two, strengthen cooperation in the field of electronic information industry.

Three, strengthen cooperation in the fields of project contracting and tourism.
