In order to enable more small and medium-sized textile and garment enterprises to achieve industrial upgrading through independent technology research and development, this year, Jimo has invested about 2000000 yuan to set up a public service platform for textile and clothing science and technology innovation, providing research and development, testing, consulting, training, financing and other services for the textile and garment industry.
It is reported that more than 100 textile and garment enterprises and more than 150 institutions of higher learning and research institutes have established cooperative relations, and more than 100 high-tech achievements have been developed.
These measures have greatly enhanced the market competitiveness of Jimo's textile and garment enterprises.
From 1 to September this year, Jimo achieved a total export volume of US $1 billion 990 million, an increase of 20.4%. In October, the city achieved an export volume of US $270 million, and the growth rate remained stable.
