Zhao Chuanxiang, President of Shandong Textile Industry Association, told reporters.

In the first three quarters of the year, Shandong's textile production and exports continued to grow. The above scale textile enterprises completed an industrial added value of 115 billion 374 million yuan, an increase of 17.43% over the same period, and the total export volume of textiles and clothing was 11 billion 730 million US dollars, up 15% over the same period last year.

Shandong is a large textile province. After years of development, it has formed a complete production system with cotton textile as the main component, printing and dyeing, wool textile, clothing, knitting and home textiles.

The output of yarn, cloth and home textile products ranks first in the same industry in the whole country. The wool textile capacity ranks the second in China, and the printing and dyeing capacity ranks third in the country, and chemical fiber and clothing rank the fourth.

Since the second half of last year, with the appreciation of RMB and the price of raw materials and the impact of the recent financial turmoil on the real economy, Shandong's textile industry has encountered unprecedented difficulties. But why did Shandong's textile enterprises not suffer large losses, and no one went bankrupt or shut down?

Many enterprises in Shandong have implemented large scale technological pformation.

These enterprises have gradually eliminated backward production equipment, and have carried out large-scale technological pformation, improved their equipment level and made faster development.

In the whole industry, the advanced level of domestic equipment has reached over 60%, of which more than 70% of modern cotton textile equipment has been achieved.

For example, Mengyin County of Shandong province has actively guided textile enterprises to make use of the profits from recycling for production and reinvestment, and strive to enhance their competitiveness and promote the long-term development of enterprises.

Since the beginning of this year, the county textile enterprises have implemented more than 100 technological pformation projects, introducing more than 200 new technologies and more than 1000 new equipment.

Shandong textile enterprises attach great importance to innovation.

In 2007, Shandong's "annual production of 45 thousand tons of viscose fiber engineering system integration" project was awarded the first prize of national science and technology progress.

Many textile enterprises in Shandong focus on long-term development. They are attaching importance to "creating" and emphasizing "creativity".

Binzhou city has been holding the "home textiles handmade fine design competition" and "home textile fashion product design competition".

In these series of competitions, many excellent ideas stand out, such as Niu Guoxiu's embroidery products, which won the silver award of the "China home textile and hand-made fine design Grand Prix", and many of her embroidered works have won the National Award, and some works have been collected by the Chinese Federation of overseas Chinese History Museum.

Enterprise management is the core issue of Shandong textile enterprises.

Shandong textile industry always attaches importance to the eternal theme of enterprise management.

The textile enterprises in Binzhou, Shandong province actively adjust the proportion of the international market to the domestic market in the face of the crisis. At the same time, they have made great efforts in maintaining product sales stability and so on, based on expanding domestic demand and optimizing the domestic market structure.

If the Yida group adjusts its internal and external sales ratio from the past 1:9 to 2:8, the group plans to achieve its domestic market share over 5 years.

Shandong textile industry has sprung up a large number of leading figures in the same industry.

The development mode of Wei Qiao venture group illustrates this point.

The scale of the enterprise has developed from Asia to the world in just a few years.

The company now has a scale of 7 million spindles.

None of the 160 thousand workers in Wei Qiao venture group laid off, of whom 140 thousand were migrant workers.

In the first 9 months of this year, Wei Qiao group achieved a revenue of 62 billion 700 million yuan, a profit of 4 billion 400 million yuan, and an export earning of more than 9.5 billion dollars.

Textile enterprises have a sense of overall situation and a sense of social responsibility.

Shandong Jining Sakura Textile Group has 6000 employees. When it met with difficulties that enterprises could not overcome in operation, Shandong and Jining actively coordinated, and Shandong Ruyi group bought cherry blossoms wholly-owned, so that the enterprise went out of difficulties in just 2 to 3 months.
