Ukraine'S Leather Exports Decreased And Imports Increased In 2008.

According to the National Statistical Commission of Ukraine, the export of leather and leather goods in Ukraine in 2008 dropped by 8.9% compared with the same period last year, and the export volume was 360 million US dollars, and the export of raw material skins decreased by 11.7% compared with the same period last year, and the export volume dropped to 302 million US dollars. At the same time, imports reached $232 million, an increase of 46% over the same period last year.
