Li Yuzhong summarized the main work of China Leather Association from various aspects.

Li Yuzhong said that in 2014, the China Leather Association continued to give full play to the role of bridges and ties, and conscientiously completed the work entrusted by the government departments at all levels, including the Ministry of environmental protection, the Ministry of State Administration of industry and the General Administration of customs, and so on, providing timely industry information and reference data for the relevant government departments to formulate industrial policies.

Li Yuzhong concluded that in the past year, the China Leather Association organized and organized a number of large-scale events, including the successful holding of the eighteenth international footwear technology conference in Guangzhou and the first "China International Leather Fashion day".

The international footwear industry conference is the official activity of the Federation of international footwear technicians. It is a high-level meeting in the world footwear industry. It is also held for the first time in China. The Eighteenth International Footwear Industry Technology Conference, with the theme of "social responsibility: the challenge of footwear industry", attracted more than 300 experts from home and abroad.

China International Leather Fashion day was held in March 26th during the international fashion week in Beijing. Through the publication of the international trend of leather fabric, the International Autumn and winter fur fashion, and domestic and foreign designers' special lectures, we promoted the industry's fashion elements in design, fabric and international fashion.

Combined with domestic consumption to promote the pformation and upgrading of China's leather industry.

In order to promote the technological exchange and innovation of leather and shoemaking industry and speed up the training of highly skilled talents, China Leather Association joined hands with China finance and trade textile and tobacco trade union, China employment training technology guidance center, and China Light Industry Vocational Skill Appraisal Guidance Center, not only successfully held the first national leather processing vocational skills competition pre finalist activity in from November 25 to 28, 2013, but also organized the first Chinese footwear skills competition in 2014.

According to Li Yuzhong, the first skills competition of shoemaker in China skills competition has been included in the 2014 China skills competition plan. It is designated as the two class competition in the national level. The final is scheduled for early November this year to be held in "China modern footwear industry city - Suzhou".

In order to continuously deepen and enhance the product design and R & D level in China's leather industry and speed up the pace of docking with international fashion design, the China Leather Association has passed the "motion on subsidizing China's leather industry design rookie further education overseas", and has selected a gold medal player from the China footwear design competition to go to Italy for 13 weeks of professional study, all of which will be paid by the association.

China added that in order to meet the new requirements of the leather industry in the critical period of pformation and upgrading, and promote the development strategy of leather industry training innovative talents under the new situation, and highlight the important role of talents in the development, the China Leather Association launched the annual leather character selection in May this year. Finally, 13 people were named "the 2014 figure of the leather industry in China" after the recommendation of enterprises and expert evaluation.

In June 2013, the China Leather Association formally participated in the evaluation of the chamber of Commerce conducted by the Ministry of civil affairs. In May 2014, the Ministry of Civil Affairs released the announcement of the evaluation results, and the China Leather Association was awarded the 5 A-level national trade association.

Li Yuzhong introduced, after that, in order to further understand the main constraints of the leather industry pformation and development period in China, provide forward-looking guidance for the sustainable development of the industry, and prepare for the industry's "13th Five-Year plan". Under the leadership of the China Leather Association Director Su Chao Ying, the leaders and staff of the association went to Heilongjiang, Henan and other places to conduct in-depth research and investigation.

In order to make leather enterprises adopt more effective measures to achieve the goal of national water saving and emission reduction, the China Leather Association has decided to organize experts in cleaner production and pollution control industry to compile the technical roadmap for water saving and emission reduction in leather industry. It hopes not only to prospectively guide the technological upgrading and technological progress of enterprises through the "road map", but also to highlight the industry's determination and enthusiasm for water-saving and emission reduction.

Li Yuzhong also mentioned the latest work of the China Leather Association. In July 23, 2014, the China Leather Association organized and convened the start up meeting of the tannery industry water saving and emission reduction technology roadmap, and the establishment group was set up to formally finalize the work of the "road map".

Li Yuzhong also fully affirmed that China Leather Association's official website of China Leather net has been upgraded online for a year, and the overall upgrading of information service capability has been achieved.

Li Yuzhong introduced that China Leather net updates and releases nearly 600 domestic and foreign information every day, releasing more than 7500 data every month, providing policy, regulations, technology and hot news analysis for the development of the industry, and developing tens of thousands of members to help enterprises solve the problems of domestic and foreign investment services, procurement, inventory, agency and sales.
