The report points out that by eBay, Sheng De international law firm used gravity model regression analysis to examine the trading situation of major trading nations on the eBay platform, thus estimating and quantifying the benefits brought by Internet pactions to consumers.
The results show that Internet pactions will significantly increase consumer welfare, and the welfare gain range is -1% (slightly loss) to +84%, with an average gain of 29%.
Taking China as an example, the gain estimate is 42%, ranking thirteenth in all the countries studied.
