The fourth national fur industry association and the China Leather Association fur economic animal breeding Committee was founded. The only academician, who is also an important member of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee, has always been entrusted with the important responsibility of finding out the problems and difficulties in the industry through investigation, and putting forward proposals for adjustment and development to the state.

Because of historical reasons, the fur industry's chronic diseases must be eradicated by seeking truth from facts, adapting to the new situation and adjusting the policies of the new normal.

In accordance with the resolution of the seventh two annual general meeting of the China Leather Association and the seventh three enlarged meeting of directors of the Leather Association, in order to enhance the communication between upstream and downstream industries in the fur industry chain and promote the sustainable development of the industry, the China Leather Association decided to establish a fur economic animal breeding Specialized Committee.

At the fourth national fur industry joint conference and the China Leather Association fur economic animal breeding Committee held today, the vice chairman of the China Leather Association has read out the decision on the establishment of the China Leather Association fur economic animal breeding Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Committee).

Ren said, the predecessor of the committee was the fur leather Specialized Committee animal fur breeding working group of the China Leather Association, which was adopted by the fourth council of the Sixth Council of China Leather Association and was established in 2011.

In the past four years, the aquaculture working group has explored and perfected the statistical methods of the total number of fur animals and the number of skins in China.

Since 2013, the output data of fur economic animals have been released to provide reference and early warning for the development of the industry. By the State Forestry Administration, the Provisional Regulations on the management of breeding, breeding and utilization of fur wild animals have been revised, which has promoted the concept of civilized breeding and civilized skin picking, enhanced the consciousness of respecting animal welfare in the industry, and organized the implementation of the promotion of advanced management and breeding technology.

Over the past few years, the industry has been calling on the breeding group to become a Specialized Committee for fur economic animals. The establishment of the committee will help to serve the domestic fur industry, promote communication and coordination between upstream and downstream information, and at the same time, facilitate the integration and win-win of domestic and foreign industry resources.
