    Although the international giants such as DHL (Chinese and foreign Yun Dunhao), UPS (FedEx) and FedEx have already obtained the domestic express license, the domestic express has not become the main market.

    It is reported that in the international express business with higher profit margins, the four major international express giants (DHL, UPS, FedEx, TNT) currently occupy 75% of China's international express delivery market, of which TNT (World Express) only makes international express in China.

    But in fact, the international express giant is only "cautious" to express its enthusiasm for the domestic express market.

    DHL said that the strategic focus of the DHL express business in the future will still be on the international express market, including the express delivery business from China to China, but at the same time, DHL will consider the possibility of developing the domestic express business in China when the market and users are more mature in the future.

    Foreign express development is subject to policy

    The development path of foreign express in China has always been the focus of attention in the industry.

    In 2005, with the commitment of the Chinese government to join WTO at the time, the policy of opening up foreign delivery in China was released. The first international courier giant to enter China began to integrate the Sinop express and all express to attack the domestic market. The market once thought that the era of integration of domestic express industry was coming.     Unlike UPS and other companies, B2B is a business related B2B express mode. Yamato aims at the services of ordinary people, that is, the market segments such as B2C or C2C.

    But until this year, it was the first time that the domestic express delivery business license was obtained.

    Express expert Zhao Xiaomin told reporters that in the past long period of time, although the express business basically opened to foreign investment, but in fact has been implementing the "spring door" policy for foreign investment. Foreign express delivery is restricted not only in specific services, but also has higher access requirements for foreign capital on the approval of the same business.

    The low price competition in the domestic express market is also considered to be another major reason for the impact of foreign investment on the domestic express delivery market.     In Zhao Xiaomin's opinion, the strength of foreign express delivery is far greater than that of domestic level in terms of informatization level, automation level, operation management level and human resource level.

    It has obvious advantages in brand, service and capital chain.

    In contrast, although the operation network is not as good as private express companies, foreign-funded enterprises can "willfully" enter the domestic high-end market through mergers and acquisitions, integrate domestic express companies, and domestic express enterprises in the high-end field will face greater pressure.

    According to the introduction, in the future, foreign exchange express will also be differentiated in Hua Lu line, providing a supply chain solution for customers such as equipment manufacturing industry and international electricity supplier logistics, and force cold chain pportation will become the focus of development of different foreign express delivery companies in China.
