The Lanzhou customs can handle the import and export customs formalities with the electronic customs information sent by the Gansu inspection and Quarantine Bureau.

The measure will save about 670 thousand yuan for enterprises within one year.

In November 28, 2014, the "coherent sonar multibeam swath diving measurement system" imported by an enterprise in Gansu was successfully declared in the "declaration system" of the Gansu inspection and Quarantine Bureau and the Lanzhou customs. Since May 2014, the application for certificate of origin has begun to trial paperless declarations. Eligible exporters do not need to provide paper documents such as applications and invoices. The certificate of origin can be obtained only by electronic declaration materials, which simplifies the declaration procedure of the certificate of origin and improves the efficiency of the visa.

In view of the fact that some enterprises go far and wide, the inspection hall further expands the service to provide free printing and mail certificate services for enterprises, so that enterprises can get certificates at home.

In addition to realizing the paperless declaration of the certificate of origin, the Gansu inspection and Quarantine Bureau also carried out a paperless declaration reform for the inspection and quarantine.

"Paperless inspection" is a new mode of simplifying inspection and quarantine process by means of self preservation of documents, filing of documents and verification of information and so on.

Since October 2014, the Gansu inspection and quarantine inspection hall has selected two foreign trade enterprises as the pilot of paperless inspection of export goods, and has opened the prelude to paperless inspection of entry-exit goods in Gansu area.
