The Design Works Of Huizhou University Graduates Won The Silver Award In The Costume Contest.
In June, for college students, someone was picking up the lights to meet the college entrance examination. Some people were revelling in the journey. Some were working hard to catch up with the end of the assignment.
At Huizhou University,
Clothing department
Not long ago, the graduates handed in the final work of the University in the 2015 "lucky Cup" costume design competition and nearly two thousand spectators.
After finishing the last group of Chinese clothes, what are the next steps for the graduates? Liu Bin is the 2015 graduate of the fashion design department of the Department of fashion, Huizhou University. His team, "my life", won the silver award in the costume design competition.
The series was designed by 4 graduates from Liu Bin, Lu Zhiyong, Wang Yijiao and Zhao Hengyu.
The whole series consists of six pieces, all red, mainly made of woolen cloth and a woven fabric with grain, mainly using the technology of three-dimensional cutting and splicing.
On the night of the graduation design contest, a group of "red" clothing series "my life" gave the audience a strong visual shock.
The whole series of garments did not use modern buttons like a button or a zipper.
"Because we want to rely on the Chinese wind, we use belts and cloth buckles instead."
Chief designer Liu Bin introduced.
In fashion design, Liu Bin used the Chinese classical glazed tile element in the outline of the coat, and stitching out the wrinkle pattern with a sense of layering and structural beauty with the Striped woven fabric, without losing the simplicity and elegance.
In addition, with the addition of a red ribbon modified from Japan's "bowls" before the model, the overall performance of the show is indistinct with the taste of Japanese samurai.
about
Design
The finalization of the blueprint was followed by 4 people in the team for two or three months, and then the selection of materials was made.
Liu Bin said, after all, the fourth year, named "my life" (homophonic homophonic) to sum up the thinking of his own experience.
In 2015, he became "the first year of his life" and gradually became fond of big red. So he chose two kinds of materials, black and white and big red, to prepare for two hands.
In mid May, Liu Bin took the completed "my life", "black and white" money to Beijing to attend the China International Fashion Week, and won the award of excellence.
When he returned to school, he was catching up with his graduation project.
He thought, "since this series has been shown on a bigger stage, there is no need to show it again."
Then, under the insistence of Liu Bin, the team of 4 people worked hard all night to make the "big red" and the same "my life", which lasted for two weeks to complete all the production.
"The workload is heavy and we are still working two nights before the game."
Liu Bin said that after the fabric is cut, it needs stitching and stitching. If there is no ideal shape, it will have to start again.
"Every design is unforgettable.
Although the process is hard, it is very easy for the whole person to see the effect of the garment finally.
In Liu Bin's view, the design of big and small four years is the track of their own growth.
In the freshman year, Liu Bin began to take part in some off campus competitions with his senior teachers and sisters, and accumulated practical experience.
In the later competitions, his works were not able to be accepted. "At the end of the sophomore year, there were works finalists."
When he got a recognition, he did his best to do more clothing design and production.
Four years later, Liu Bin participated in seven or eight large and small off campus costume design competitions.
In 2013, he won the first prize in the China competition area of the international costume fabric design competition by virtue of his oriental charm. He represented China in the first SDC (International Costume and fabric design competition) finals, and was also the first student majoring in fashion department in Huizhou University.
However, speaking of schools that have been studying and living for nearly four years, Liu Bin even did not recognize the name of the teaching building.
"Almost every day, two quarters of the dormitory and clothing building have the deepest feelings for the clothing industry."
He laughed and said that in addition to the dormitory, the student studio in the clothing building was the longest place he stayed. "It's mostly a person running to the clothing building to draw and make clothes at night."
At the end of June, graduates have to move out of their dormitories and start new studies or jobs.
According to Liu Xiaohong, the executive director of the Department of clothing, according to the past situation, the employment situation of the clothing department graduates is optimistic.
Some students have already done internship, production, merchandising and management before leaving school, and some students have chosen to go abroad or graduate school to pursue further studies; some students who have ideas have opened their own studios, and have made their own designs.
Almost all the more than 40 students in Liu Bin's class had their whereabouts. However, he has not yet submitted a resume.
"Several times before, when I was approached by a clothing company, I declined."
Liu Bin said that after graduation, he plans to stay in Huizhou to develop, first find a place near the school, prepare to open a studio, take orders, and open a fashion design training class.
For Liu Bin to stay
Huizhou
The plan, friends around have expressed puzzled, suggested that he go to Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and other first tier cities to seek better development opportunities.
"I am familiar with the city of Huizhou, and do not want to run to another strange city.
And Huizhou to Guangzhou to buy Fabrics is also convenient, two or three hours drive. "
Liu Bin said.
Although he was ready to stay in Huizhou, Liu Bin still had some doubts. "Before, there were some elder brothers and sisters who set up their own studios. They also had to go to work in the middle of the road, and did not know if they could carry on."
