    Industrial output exceeds 10% nationwide

    As one of the most important industries in Shenzhen, garment industry has been highly valued by Shenzhen municipal government.

    At the opening ceremony, Chen Biao, vice mayor of Shenzhen, mentioned that Shenzhen has made great efforts to promote the pformation and development of the garment industry. After years of efforts, Shenzhen has formed an industry cluster advantage, information superiority and innovation advantage with women's clothing as its main body.

    In 2014, the total output value of garment industry in Shenzhen reached 200 billion yuan, and exported nearly tens of billions of dollars. The output value accounted for over 10% of the country's total value, with more than 3000 clothing enterprises and more than 800 self owned brand enterprises. The products accounted for over 60% of the shopping malls in big cities, and gradually appeared on the international fashion stage.

    Zhang Li, vice president of China Textile Industry Federation, said that Shenzhen is a national innovative city.

    Independent brand construction

    The pioneer city has provided new opportunities and new requirements for the development of Shenzhen.
