In order to further strengthen the supervision of commodity quality in the circulation field, the Wenzhou municipal market supervision bureau carried out the circulation field in the second quarter of 2015 according to the arrangement of "the sampling inspection plan for commodity quality in the circulation sector in 2015".

Special quality spot checks.

The sampling area was Pingyang, directly affiliated to Ouhai, and a total of 40 batches of leather sold by 15 units were sampled.

After inspection, 40 batches of leather were inspected and 14 batches were rejected, with an unqualified rate of 35%.

There are 10 unqualified items, namely, bursting strength, tear force, specified load elongation, color fastness, decomposition of harmful aromatic amine dyes, width deviation, thickness deviation, thickness limit deviation, wear resistance and tensile load.

The production process of artificial leather includes base cloth treatment, rubber preparation, coating, laminating, gelatinization, surface treatment, embossing, cooling, coiling and other processes.

The thickness limit deviation, width deviation, elongation at break and wear resistance mainly refer to the physical properties of artificial leather which are not up to the standard requirements.

There are many reasons for the unqualified physical properties of artificial leather, some of which do not carry on the base cloth.

Factory inspection, resulting in a large number of unqualified base cloth is one of the main reasons for its failure.

The tear force and the specified load elongation rate are not up to standard, which means that the physical properties of finished leather can not meet the standard requirements.

All the three items are not qualified if the leather fibers are too loose.

The color fastness and surface color fastness are not related to the dyes used in dyeing leather or artificial leather, the properties of finishing agents used in finishing, and the process before and after dyeing.
