According to the statistics of the General Administration of customs, in September this year, the export clothing and accessories in China amounted to 108 billion 991 million 650 thousand yuan, a decrease of 5.8% compared to the same period last year. "At present, the pressure of China's garment export enterprises is relatively large. On the one hand, the demand for clothing commodities in the international market has declined since the beginning of this year, and the purchasing power of the market has been weakening. On the other hand, the production costs and labor costs of our garment exporting enterprises have been rising constantly, and the business burden of enterprises is very heavy."
An insider, who declined to be named, said.
"In recent years, the export profits of our enterprises are not high, especially the export orders for high-end clothing products are becoming less and less.
In order to improve the export profitability of enterprises, we try to increase the production of mid-range clothing products, reduce the number of high-end clothing products, and hope to meet the procurement needs of the international market.
