March 30th ~4 2, Vietnam International Textile Accessories Exhibition (SaigonTex) will be held in Hu Zhiming. The Italy Textile Machinery Association and its member enterprises are actively preparing for the SaigonTex, where new products and technologies will be exhibited.
The Italy textile machinery manufacturers association is a private nonprofit organization. In recent years, Vietnam's textile and garment industry has made remarkable achievements, with an annual growth rate of 20%. Now it has become Vietnam's largest export industry.
Vietnam has abundant labor force, professional training and low cost, which is suitable for the future development of textile and garment industry.
In 2006, Vietnam's textile and garment industry exports amounted to US $5 billion 930 million, an increase of 24% compared to 2004. Vietnam has become a member of WTO, providing many opportunities for the development of foreign trade and the entry of foreign capital, including developed countries moving the industry to Vietnam.
In recent years, Vietnam has gradually become the main market of textile machinery manufacturing enterprises. Because of its low labor cost, it has become an important manufacturing center of the garment industry. It has gained the opportunity to further develop the textile industry in the free trade agreement signed recently with the European Union and the United States.
Vietnam is the world clothing One of the largest exporters to the United States every year, the European Union and Japan The estimate is US $12 billion, and the textile manufacturer's goal is to export clothing to US $25 billion in 2020. During the 2008-2010 years, clothing and accessories grew by 16-18%. Garment and accessories manufacturers are sourcing advanced equipment technology to find better materials suppliers and improve management.

In many people's eyes, Italy fabric is the pronoun of high-end fabrics, "Italy manufacturing" represents the taste and quality.
At the just concluded UNICA fabric exhibition in Milan, I heard the most word in 3 days. It was "excellence". The most heard word was "to maintain the image created by Italy". It can be felt that both the exhibition organizers, the Italy trade community and the Fabric Companies in the country are practicing this principle.
The most terrible thing in the world is not good enough, but better than you.
How many times have we heard some Chinese fabric enterprises say that our fabrics are already very good, or our fabrics can match the Italy fabrics, but never heard of any enterprise expressing the ambition to surpass the Italy fabric.
Many people have analyzed a question: why is Italy fabric better than Chinese fabric? The reasons include good raw materials, strong equipment, high technology workers, and even some people say the local water quality is better. But every reason seems unassailable. First of all, raw materials are also good buys, which can not be bought with money. Secondly, how many enterprises have imported the high-end equipment completely, and the difference of equipment is almost negligible; besides, the quality of workers, the Chinese nation is a smart and industrious country recognized by the world, and we are not inferior in terms of technology and dexterity. Finally, if water quality is really a reason, can we not find enough water quality in the vast territory and abundant resources of China?
In fact, in my opinion, the real difference arises from standards. We and Italy have different standards and pursuits for the production process and products. Ercole Botho Botto Poala, the new chairman of Milan UNICA fabric exhibition, once said that the future goal of Italy fabric is not only high-end and luxury, but excellence, that is, surpassing itself. Ercole What we call "good" is 100 points. Italians want 120 points, not even caps. They just want to break through.
In answering reporters' questions, Chinese journalists have asked whether Italy fabric companies believe that Chinese fabrics are threatening. The Italians reply is that the two countries' fabrics are not comparable because the market and customers are different.
Although this is a great truth, the global market is so large that it does require different types of enterprises to meet different market demands, but Chinese fabrics always lack a place in the high-end market.
"Made in China" is not a partial view, but a whole.
I do not want to hear any remarks about "part of Chinese enterprises plagiarism" and "Alibaba counterfeiting" on such exhibitions and other occasions. Please leave the final dignity to "made in China".
Our Italy enterprises are better than us, and their efforts are directed towards innovation. They are jointly maintaining the "Italy manufacturing" reputation.
When we put forward, how to look at the high-end fabric comparable to the Italy fabric, the other is a smile: who said what is not important, customer recognition is the most important.
Simply, the word is directly related to the key. China does not have no high-end fabrics, but lacks the right to speak. Behind this right of speech is the degree of recognition of customers.
Many people in the industry believe that we can make products comparable to Italy fabrics. For example, some of the high-end men's clothing in Shandong is not inferior to that of Zegna, a famous manufacturer in Italy. It can also be said that even so, facing the same price of similar fabrics, customers are more inclined to Italy brand. China's high-end fabrics are faced with either the embarrassment of high places or the forced sale.
Why did it cause such a situation? The reason for this is that it has not yet launched the word "made in China" and lacks the sense of responsibility to maintain "made in China". Although the high-end market is now being discussed, the establishment of this word of mouth is not really through the establishment of several high-end fabric brands, but the result of the joint efforts of tens of thousands of small and medium-sized enterprises.
