Last week, the organizers of the 2016 International Maritime road cycling competition on the Silk Road of Quanzhou announced that the event will be held in Quanzhou on October 14th -16, when at least 15 domestic and foreign convoys will compete.

Wu Yongjiang said that since the first preparations were made and the top international bicycle races were held every June, the tournament was nominally invited, and next year's competition will be officially registered as the 2.2 level of intercontinental competition.
It is expected that there will be Inter Continental professional teams, intercontinental teams, national teams and club teams from 22 International Cycling Union participating in the competition.
Meanwhile, local cycling enthusiasts in Quanzhou can also enter the competition.
