At present, China's textile industry is facing a critical period of pformation and upgrading. We should improve the industry innovation system, deepen the integration of the two technologies, promote technological, management, production and business mode innovation, increase investment in R & D design, strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights, achieve key technological breakthroughs in key areas, enhance the soft power of the industry, and improve the contribution rate of scientific and technological progress to the development of the industry.

Sponsored by the China Federation of textile industry, supported by the Ministry of industry and information technology and the state owned assets supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the annual meeting of China's textile and garment industry social responsibility held in 2016 in Shanghai was hosted by the China Federation of Textile Industry Federation's social responsibility office and the China Textile Information Center.

Sun Ruizhe pointed out that in the next ten years, the social responsibility construction of China's textile and garment industry will be based on the mode innovation and technological innovation as the foundation and key point, opening up a new stage of collaborative management and cross regional social responsibility collaborative management in the global textile supply chain. This will also be a new course for the Chinese textile industry to build a social responsibility in the goal of sustainable development of the United Nations and the goal of China's ecological civilization construction.

Chen Dapeng, vice chairman of the China Federation of textile industry, released the keynote speech entitled "2015-2016 China's textile and garment industry social responsibility report". Chen Dapeng said that China's textile and garment industry social responsibility management system CSC9000T (2015 Annual Edition) is being improved, and will begin to fully open CSC9000T and its online tools in 2017, and will be applied in clothing, home textiles, printing and dyeing industries.

The 2020 action of chemicals management innovation in textile supply chain, launched in July this year, is also one of the key tasks of the future social responsibility work. The construction of industrial cluster's sustainable development service system is the key project in the industry cluster. The system is based on the social responsibility value oriented, the industrial big data as the engine, and forms the "one platform, two bases and three levels" work pattern, and provides decision-making suggestions for the regional sustainable development governance.

The research project of "China's textile industry investment responsibility and challenges" under the strategy of "one belt and one road" has also been in progress. This project will guide China's textile and garment enterprises to guide overseas investment in social responsibility and help enterprises improve their overseas social responsibility risk management and control capabilities, thereby strengthening the competitiveness and sustainable development of Chinese textile and garment enterprises in the local area, enhancing the soft power of the industry and the right to speak in international trade.

Chen Dapeng also elaborated on the latest 12 social responsibility development goals of the textile and garment industry, including decent work, social dialogue, gender equality, youth development,

Environmental friendly, sustainable innovation, responsible supply chain, responsible investment, responsible consumption, respect for property rights and honest competition.
