Jointly sponsored by China Leather Association and Huidong County People's government, the eighth Huidong shoes culture festival was opened at the China fashion women's shoes International Expo Center, A industrial pfer industrial park, China. The keynote address was SATRA's technical services for the global footwear industry, the US retail market, the footwear business model of the future, and the prediction of the new US president's economic and trade policy toward China.

During the meeting, the board of directors of the Federation of International Footwear Association (CIFA) was convened. It passed the proposal of the company as the partner of the 2018-2020 International Footwear Design Competition (IFDC). It selected the 2017 IFDC publicity poster scheme, adopted the CIFA financial report, and discussed other related matters.

According to the arrangement, the thirty-sixth IFC conference will be held in Bangladesh in November 2017.
