Kohl 's says the service will start from next month in 82 Kohl' s stores in Chicago and Losangeles, and consumers will not have to return their Amazon orders with their original packaging.
Rick Schepp, chief executive of Kohl s, said: "the distribution of our offline outlets and our full channel capabilities, combined with the large loyal users of Amazon, will be a good example of our mutual cooperation."
According to foreign media, Kohl 's can complete online delivery in more than 1100 stores, which is enough to prove that the retailer store has the ability to process online orders.
As for the details of cooperation, Kohl s claims that it will only set up special parking spaces near the entrance of the store for the returned Amazon users, including how to set up the Amazon return center in the store, how to deal with the cost and how to deal with the returned merchandise.
