The 125Th Canton Fair Opened More Than 25 Thousand Enterprises Inside And Outside The Exhibition.

The 125th China Import and Export Fair (hereinafter referred to as the "Canton Fair") opened today in Guangzhou.

At the opening news conference held on 14, Xu Bing, deputy director of the China Foreign Trade Center, said that the 125th Canton Fair had a total area of 1 million 185 thousand square meters, with 60651 total booths and 25496 exhibitors inside and outside the country.

"It is expected that more than 210 buyers and purchasers will attend the procurement at this fair, which will help exhibitors to further consolidate traditional markets, develop new markets, optimize the layout of the international market, and achieve higher quality export market diversification."

Xu Bing said that the Canton Fair will carry out the global marketing promotion according to the principle of combining the professional exhibition area with the target market.

The scale of the 125th Canton Fair has remained stable and the overall pattern remains unchanged.

The first phase is from April 15th to 19. It mainly displays electronic and household appliances, lighting, vehicles and accessories, machinery, hardware tools, building materials, chemical and energy products. The second phase will be held from April 23rd to 27, mainly on consumer products, gifts and home accessories. The third phase will be May 1st to 5, mainly on textile, clothing, shoes, office bags and leisure products, medicine and health care, food products.

Among them, the export exhibition has 51 exhibition areas according to 16 categories of commodities, and 24846 exhibitors, including 2296 brand enterprises, and the renewal rate of products is over 30%.

Exhibitors with independent intellectual property rights, independent brands and independent marketing networks and high tech content, high added value, green and low carbon exhibitors increased significantly.

"Private enterprises have become the main force of China's foreign trade. Private enterprises accounted for 48% of the total export volume last year, and the quality of foreign trade of private enterprises has been significantly improved."

Xu Bing said that in the current Canton Fair, 21126 private enterprises, accounting for 85.03%, have become the largest exhibitors in the Canton Fair.

The new round of Canton Fair export product design award, and the Canton fair product design series activities will also start, so as to guide enterprises to strengthen design research and development, and foster new competitive advantages in foreign trade.

About 100 outstanding design organizations from 15 countries and regions will participate in the design exhibition, providing design services for participating enterprises, helping to improve the design level of Chinese enterprises and Chinese made products.

The quality of exhibitors imported from 38 countries and regions is further improved.

The Canton Fair continued to set up an import exhibition in the first, third stage. The total area of the exhibition is 20 thousand square meters, with 6 product areas and 1000 total booths.

A total of 650 enterprises from 38 countries and regions participated in the exhibition, with 10 countries and regions exhibiting.

The quality of the import exhibition has been further improved. There are many industry benchmarks and international leading companies from the United States, Britain, Germany, Japan and other countries in the electronics and home appliances, building materials and hardware, machinery and equipment, food and beverage industries.

The enterprises with the largest number of exhibitors in the countries and regions along the "one belt and one road" have participated in 383 enterprises in 21 countries and regions, accounting for 60%.

Xu Bing said that the Canton Fair will also take the opportunity of the "development plan outline of Guangdong Bay Hong Kong Bay Area" as an opportunity to hold an international cooperation and Exchange Conference on importing exhibitions, organize the business departments of the Da Wan District, foreign embassies and consulates, domestic foreign trade associations, overseas trade promotion agencies and overseas recruitment and Exhibition cooperation agencies to seek business opportunities and promote the integration and exchange of business resources in and outside the Da Wan district.

770 enterprises in poor areas are expected to attend the exhibition free of charge.

This Canton Fair further intensified its efforts to help the poor, and adopted pragmatic measures to further promote business precision and help the poor.

Among them, the booth fee of all exhibitors in the poverty-stricken areas will continue to be waived. It is expected that 770 enterprises from 22 provinces and cities will be free to participate in the exhibition, covering 45 exhibition areas.

At the same time, we should continue to set up exhibition areas for special products in poverty-stricken areas.

The exhibition area is 1710 square meters, with 190 booths. Exhibitors from 22 provinces and cities are exhibiting clothing, bags, food and other special products.

On the first day of the third phase, special promotion activities will be held to publicize the enterprises and products of the exhibition area free of charge, and further enhance the exhibition effect of the special products exhibition in poor areas.

"In order to help enterprises reduce costs, the Guangzhou Fair will continue to charge booth fees for all exhibitors in accordance with the 119th reduction standards, continue to reduce and exemption from 23 on-site service items, and free and uniformly lay carpets, effectively reducing costs for enterprises."

The Guangzhou Fair will further promote the construction of the wisdom Canton Fair and speed up the digital pformation of the Canton Fair.

In addition, the improved certification system, the introduction of face recognition technology and the pilot use of the new contactless IC card verification machine have made the verification process more convenient and efficient.
