Awati County Set Up "Cotton Industry Alliance" To Strengthen And Strengthen The Cotton Industry

To achieve the "cotton industry alliance" demonstration area with an area of 2 million 500 thousand mu and 350 thousand tons of high quality cotton.

Since the beginning of this year, Awati has established the "cotton industry alliance" to guide the township (town) and district administrative committees to sign cotton production contract with Xinjiang Lu Tai harvest cotton limited liability company, China cotton group Xinjiang cotton Co., Ltd., Akesu Yida cotton Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Lihua cotton Limited by Share Ltd and other enterprises.

In April 10th, we learned from the regional agricultural and rural bureau that the establishment of the "cotton industry alliance" in Awati county is only a microcosm of the regional integration of cotton production, supply and marketing.

In order to boost the strategy of Rural Revitalization in the region, consolidate and expand the advantages of the cotton industry and expand and strengthen the cotton industry, this year, the region will guide more textile enterprises, processing enterprises and cooperatives to build a cotton industry interest community through the way of "enterprises + cooperatives + farmers", and form the whole industrial chain of Akesu's high-quality cotton production and processing, so as to promote the quality and efficiency of cotton production in the region, maximize the effective use of land and increase the income of farmers.

The region plans to build 6 regional consortium in 6 counties (cities) of Sha ya, Awati, Kuche, Xin He, Akesu and Wensu. Through the land pfer, cooperative generation collection and cotton enterprise scale planting, the main cotton varieties should be determined according to the needs of enterprises and market, the layout of cotton production areas and varieties will be optimized, and the development of High-yielding Cotton producing areas with high priority should be cultivated.

In 2019, the "cotton industry alliance" demonstration area will be 2 million 500 thousand mu, and the quality cotton output will be 350 thousand tons.

The region attaches great importance to improving cotton quality and increasing efficiency. In 2018, it began to form "cotton industry alliance", and built 5 regional alliances in 3 counties (cities) of Sha ya, Awati and Akesu, involving 44 thousand households, 1 million 550 thousand mu of demonstration area, and 1 million 250 thousand acres of orders.

This year, the region will absorb more than 100 cotton textile, processing enterprises and production and technical service cooperatives, involving more than 50 thousand households.
