The Twelfth Cross-Strait Textile Science And Technology Symposium Was Held At Qiingdao University.

In April 20th, sponsored by the cross strait Textile Science and Technology Exchange Council, the twelfth cross-strait Textile Science and Technology Symposium jointly organized by the functional textile and Advanced Materials Research Institute of Qiingdao University, Qiingdao University textile and Clothing Institute, the National Key Laboratory of bio polysaccharide fiber forming and ecological textile Ministry, the marine biomass fiber material and the textile and textile co operative innovation center of Shandong, was held at the learning Hall of the international academic exchange center of our school.

Wang Liming, deputy secretary of the Party committee of Qiingdao University, vice chairman of the cross-strait textile and technology exchange, Li Pengfei, vice president of Xi'an Polytechnic University, Luo Zhongyou, chairman of Taiwan Industrial Textiles Association, Luo Zhongyou, chairman of the world textile and Limited by Share Ltd, and Wang Yakang, chairman and consultant Wang Yakang of the Taiwan textile industry comprehensive research institute, respectively.

Experts have made speeches on the research and thinking of textile comfort, redefining the circular economy, the future of textiles, the Novel Biocidal Fabrics for Biological Protections, the invention and modernization of silk, the "Qingdao textile town" in the planning and construction, and the research of textile flame retardant, antibacterial, double thinning and multifunctional finishing.

During the symposium, 3 exchanges of 38 reports were also organized.

The cross strait textile Exchange Council was established in 2005, covering many industrial, academic and research institutions across the Taiwan Strait.

The theme of this conference is "functional fiber and functional textiles", which aims to summarize the achievements made in the field of textiles in three areas across the Straits, discuss the new development direction of functional fibers and functional textiles, promote the pformation of scientific and technological achievements and scientific research achievements in the textile field, and provide a platform for textile education, science and technology workers and the business community to explore new ideas, new technologies and equipment for the development of textile science and technology.
