Trade Volume Between China And Russia Is Expected To Increase By 30% This Year.

2019 was the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and China.

Natalia Mamajena, director of the Sino Russian historical research center of the Far East Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, said that the friendship between the former Soviet Union and the Chinese people reached a very high level, and we very much hope that the Chinese and Russian peoples will also enhance their friendship to such a high level.

Su Fangqiu, Minister of the Chinese Embassy in Russia, said that there is an old saying in China that we should learn from history. We will not forget the Soviet Union's help at that time, laid the foundation for the reconstruction and development of China's industry, and also brought much help to young People's Republic of China at that time. Without the aid projects of the former Soviet Union, there would be no development of China today.

These historical bases will further promote the development of Sino Russian relations.

Sergei Lujanin, director of the Far East Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, also said that these foundations play an important role in promoting the development of bilateral relations.

He said that despite the tremendous development of technology, China already has more advanced and more advanced equipment than the former Soviet Union. However, looking back at the history of the Soviet Union's help to China, the provision of assistance is aimed at establishing a strategic partnership.

Today, Russia and China still need to establish a strategic partnership, and this history is a bridge that has been passed since 50s. This bridge has always existed and linked the two peoples together.

Sergei Lujanin also analyzed the current difficult situation of Sino US economic and trade relations, and gave new opportunities for Sino Russian relations. Sino Russian trade can partly compensate for the resulting trade imbalance.

China and Russia have the obligation to increase mutual investment, further enhance the trade volume between the two countries, and strengthen cooperation with China's "one belt and one road initiative" and Russia's Eurasian Economic Alliance, and work hand in hand to develop the markets of Eurasian countries.

He believes that Sino Russian trade has broad room for growth in four areas, including liquefied natural gas, military industry, e-commerce and agricultural products. The cooperation in these four fields will bring new growth points to Sino Russian trade volume.

He also predicted that the volume of trade between China and Russia this year will be expected to increase by 28%-30%.
