Adidas Launched IKEA'S First Indoor Sports Product Series In 2021.
Many people want to exercise and make themselves healthier. However, because of busy work, it is difficult for people to spare time to spend time and money on public sports venues, and many people prefer to exercise alone, so moving at home has become the only choice for many people. However, with the increasing pressure of the urban population, the living space is becoming more crowded and the indoor space is becoming less and less. To this end, the German sports giant Adidas (Adidas) joined the Swedish home tycoon IKEA (IKEA) to launch the first indoor sports product series in 2021, hoping to combine sports health with home life and make indoor sports a popular way of life.
In 2018, IKEA announced at its "democratic design day" meeting that it will work with Adidas to explore innovative designs and change the future of indoor sports. The two sides have sent professionals from their design, creativity and product development to form an expert team to visit home in New York, Chicago, Shanghai and London to explore the relationship between life and health and understand the problems encountered in indoor sports. Adidas and IKEA will work together to design a plan suitable for indoor sports to solve the problems of limited indoor sports space and motion noise.
Young women and mothers with children are the focus of their visit, because these two groups are more likely to exercise regularly because of lack of living and learning. Effective solutions to these two specific groups are also more likely to apply to other groups.
Michael Bui, senior director of Adidas youth movement, said: "female users are very important to Adidas. We need to know how different their indoor sports are and how they are experiencing indoor sports. With the help of IKEA, we hope to find solutions to these problems for mothers and young girls who bring their children, so that families can be full of vigor and vitality.
IKEA creative director James Futcher said: "IKEA is an expert in home life. We produce furniture to meet people's daily household needs. Adidas is an expert in healthy exercise. IKEA and Adidas cooperate to make home life full of vitality of healthy exercise.
