Since Hengli 1 million 500 thousand tons / year ethylene and 5 million tons / year PTA project started construction last year, only 8 months into the installation peak. After the start of the project installation conference, the participating units will select the best troops to concentrate on manpower, material resources, safety, high quality and quick completion of the installation tasks, ensure that the equipment of ethylene glycol, polyolefin, styrene and other devices are driven in September 2019, ethylene plant and PTA4 line feed in October 20th, and the installation of PTA5 line in February 2020 will end.

At present, Hengli Group has built three PTA production lines of 6 million 600 thousand tons in Changxing Island. Last year, Hengli Group invested another 8 billion yuan to officially launch two production lines of 2 million 500 thousand tons / year using the new generation technology. After the project reaches the project, the PTA capacity of Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian Changxing Island) Industrial Park will reach 12 million tons, and further consolidate Hengli's leading position in the field of PTA in the field of PTA. The Hengli 1 million 500 thousand ton / year ethylene project with a total investment of 22 billion yuan adopts the advanced technology such as Desi Knibb and SD, France, and uses the naphtha and dry gas produced by refining and chemical projects as raw materials to build the world's largest 1 million 500 thousand tons of ethylene, 1 million 800 thousand tons of ethylene glycol, 800 thousand tons of polyolefin and 720 thousand tons of styrene and other devices. After the completion of the project, China will greatly reduce the import dependence on ethylene glycol, polyolefin and other high-end chemical raw materials. At present, the project has entered the peak period of equipment installation.
